Don't stay - other choices near by. Woken at 6:30 am by hotel workers smoking and talking next to our hotel door.

Hotel is only ok. The hotel staff was loud and hanging out near our hotel door at 6:30 am. At 7 am a hotel worked pushed his laundry cart, sounded like jet, down the sidewalk in front of everyone's hotel door. Then when I went to check out the hotel staff was busy smoking outside while 3 people waited. Sue needs to get another job. She was rude and impolite when I commented about the noisy smoking break at 6:30 am. There was mold in the bathtub.

    Not A Good Stay

I was driving to Memphis, Tennessee and was just tired, it was late and I wanted to just grab a few hours sleep and this place seemed to be a good choice. Well, we would soon find out that some choices are decidedly not good. Upon checking in, the subsequent taxes for this room are somewhere around twenty percent. Highway robbery (especially considering that this hotel is just off Interstate 65). My room was relatively clean, not the best, but I did not walk in and see piles of refuse and a cockroach sprawled comfortably on the thread worn sofa, casually smoking a cigarette, perhaps a bottle of beer in hand. Walking across the floors, they were uneven and crooked. It was like walking on a forest trail with noticeable inclinations every step. Warped? Maybe so. Breakfast was kind of ok. The usual continental breakfast thing, but when I opened a container of peanut butter, the texture was, I don't know, strange, and there was a liquid on the top. Leaving, I was walking down the stairs and they were cheap steel stairs. More at place in an industrial area than for a hotel. I guess ultimately i got my night's sleep and i was on my way that morning, but i can say that I cannot see myself returning.

    UNBEARABLE

We have stayed at many of Super 8's over the years as they are pet friendly and have never run across one that has been so atrocious as this one was. We checked in and told us the cost of the room but they had to put a $50 hold on our room. For what reason I can't explain since we used a credit card to check in. Once we entered the room I used the bathroom and found urine and dirt around the bottom of the toilet. I had to use my own lysol wipes to clean the bathroom so it could be used. The carpet was extremely worn down to nothing, the fitted sheets didn't stay on the mattress as they were stretched out. There were little burn holes in the top sheet rather then not use that sheet again. Then when we finally did get to sleep at 2:15 am a blarring alarm sounded off continuously, the front desk stated it was for a back flow water problem but she couldn't shut it off. About 40 minutes later it finally got shut down but only lasted for about 20 minutes and the alarm started all over again for a total of approximately 45 - 50 minutes total. At that time everybody is standing outside wondering what the heck is going on and what they plan on doing. Finally able to go back to sleep we get up to leave and go to the breakfast they serve. What a joke. The Hot covered steam plate had scrambled eggs, biscuits, and cinamon buns, The only problem was everything was ice cold. Nothing was even slightly warm. When we went to check out we complained about the noise during the night and the breakfast needed better watching and what they were going to do for the inconvience and she said all she can do is apologize extremely, I just can't apologize enough. When my husband used the restroom just before we left he informed the office the men's room was out of paper toweling. She stated we don't use paper towels, you use the tissue paper in the men's room for drying your hands. I have never heard of such an ill managed hotel and yet we paid full price and still awaiting the return of the $50 hold. BULL CRAP.........

    Sleep stop

Ok.. so the place is a dump but probably more frustrating is the lack of transparency... yes they welcome pets but its $15 a night per pet that they do not tell you about when booking. Still have free breakfast on their website.., I understand Covid did not start yesterday but there are lot of options other than Nothing... so no that there is no free breakfast.
