  i chose this hotel as it was fairly cheap and right next to a convention i attended. the views are amazing, clean rooms, an awesome pool and its situated right next to the beach. Defs would go again even just for a casual holiday.

  Perfect location

  Great location, price was excellent, overall the 2 bedroom unit was comfortable for a family of 4, if I had to complain about anything it would of been that the fans didnt work, however it may have been a simple fix that I didnt bother complaining about, the lady at reception was always very helpful. Will definitely stay there again

  We booked to stay in Unit 12 for 4 nights. I had to collect the keys from the owner who managers a complex up the road. She let us in early (9.30am) said they've had such bad weather (I'm from South Brisbane & the weather hasn't been bad) that she hadn't had a chance to get the cleaner in to give it a dust. Well I'll let the photos below explain why I asked for a full refund. Pic 1. Glass all over the floor 2. Sorry floor 3. The dirt & grime under the kitchen benches. 4. The dirty sink. 5. A cigarette butt on the kitchen bench.

  You get what you pay for - but great location

  When I arrived the reception staff were friendly and nice. My unit was a good size which impressed me. It was budget price due to the games having just finished and like all hotels were giving away rooms at reduced rates. The location was great and the room faced the side with sea views as stated. The thing that annoyed me most was that the place was dirty in a lot of areas. The bench tops I needed to clean the slight grime off before I put my food on the bench. The window screens were disgustingly filthy, but since I didnt have to touch them I ignored the dirt. The general areas were clean ie bathroom, stove top, cupboards. The dishes were basically a top of the range plastic. The armchair in the bedroom is wobbly, linen was clean. In my opinion as an ex property manager the owners need to rejuvenate the apartment and make it more presentable. I cannot speak for other apartments, but this one needs fixing up.

  Great value, and that view.............

  A little dated, but the apartment has everything you will need and more. The view is spectacular over the ocean, and the sound is awesome! Lesley is lovely, and I would definitely stay again if we go back 'over east'!
