  Excellent hotel

  Stayed here for 4 nights with husband and son and it was wonderful. The rooms are spacious, clean with a balcony. The reception staff are extremely welcoming on every occasion. The breakfast is great offering large continental choice as well as a small choice of hot food. The staff in the restaurant morning and breakfast are also very friendly. The location is excellent and for the bikers the hotel offers a bike storage room offering tools and washer. Loved this hotel and will be back next year.

  Great place to stay

  We stayed in the hotel for the second time. The rooms are big. Enough place to have an extra bed for a child. The breakfast is just great. Everything you wish for is there and even more.. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Also the location is good. Close to shops and busstop. Cross-country on the doorstep ...

  Perfect Ski Hotel

  I stayed at this Sunstar Property on a 3-day ski offer. This offered excellent value for money at a wonderfully located facility that provided a fantastic base to kick off the ski season. The location is perfect. 5 mins from the center of town and if you are travelling by public transportation as I was, they will pick you up from the bus station- No problem. The hotel is also 5 mins walk from the ski bus stop and no more than 10 minutes walk from the closest lift, if the buses are full, or if you want a good warm up in the am... The staff were friendly, professional knowledgeable and multilingual, as is the case with almost all Swiss hotels, but this hotel offered a few "surprise and delight" features that makes it stand out. Breakfast is expansive with a variety of hot and cold options and starts at 0730 so that you can catch the first chair...Dinner had wonderful variety (including for vegetarians) and was professionally prepared and presented- So nice to have options OTHER than the standard "Cheese Fondue" The hotel has a fantastic wellness facility with sauna and swimming pool that is great to unwind after a long ski day, or if the weather is ugly.... The ski boot room is big, well lit, warm, with ample space to store your ski kit, a place to tune your edges if so inclined, an outlet to plug in your electric boot liners of bags and enough room for several people to put on their boots and grab skis without feeling as if you are on top of each other. 24hr Access is controlled with your room card and you can exit directly into the garage so no need to clomp through the hotel in ski boots- Nicely designed. Ski rental locations are across the street in case you forget something and there is a small grocery store for essentials at 200m The wifi signal is excellent and you can use up to 3 devices with the option to add I believe up to 5 The Minibar in the room is stocked with a variety of soft drinks that are complimentary- HUGE for after ski snacking and a unique feature of SunStar properties... There is no single supplement- Ever....Which is RARE in Switzerland (or anywhere) And of course the room was immaculately clean, well laid out with multiple outlets to plug un all your kit and a beautiful modern bathroom WITH a balcony- Impressive. Sunstar offers a variety of "all-inclusive" ski packages with takes an already strong hotel product and adds a serious value proposition. Worth investigating!

  A family hotel, but part of a large group.

  The food is better than one would expect. Far from the skilifts, but the skibus stops right outside the hotel. It bothered me that having the second half of a red wine bottle the next day it was served at room temperature, maybe 23 degrees, each time. Otherwise restaurant service was excellent.

  We Enjoyed Our Stay!

  We stayed 3 nights at Sunstar with Langlauftraum Package. Location: Sport Bus bus stop, cross country ski trail and a supermarket are just next of the hotel. It takes about 5 minutes to get to center of village and less than 10 minutes to post bus station on foot. Basically it is very convenient. We traveled by public transport, but most of the guests seem to drive there. So you might struggle to park your car by arrival. Room: Stayed in a standard double room. Room itself was nothing special, but spotless clean and very well-equipped. Personally the mattress was a bit soft, but nothing to complain. It is not a 4-star like room, but the price is also low for 4 stars. So it is absolutely fair. We didnt hear any noise although our room was near the lift. Breakfast: Very wide range and good selection of food. They cook omelet or fried eggs if you wish. Dinner (we had half board) The first and second courses are from buffet. The main course can be chosen from 4 different menus. The dessert has 3 choices. The service staff was very competent and friendly. It isnt anything like wow, but fair quality. Wellness: Rather small, but well-equipped and modern. It is very generous they provide some free snacks and drinks. Approximately from 15:30 the facility is full. It was written maximum 30 Persons, but a bit doubtful to let so many people enter in small area during the Corona time.... Package Langlauftraum: I found it was good package for the value of money we paid. There was wash service for sport clothes. We brought it late afternoon and got them back in the same evening. It was amazingly efficient. Lenzerheide: No wonder, but its (comfortably) touristic. Local people in shops, etc are not always friendly, but thats how they are in mountain area. HOWEVER try to avoid Activ Sport Baselgia to buy/ rent ski/bike, if you can. They are extremely unfriendly. If you cannot avoid try to go to young staff. The hotel staff is hardworking, well-organised and professional. Thank you very much for making our stay so comfortable.
