  Stunning views

  The apartment was sparkling clean and beautifully furnished but to be honest it could have just been a dirty room with a bean bag because the view was AMAZING!!! Make sure if you stay here, and you should, that you get up early so as to enjoy the view for longer! The pool was lovely and a nice back up if the waves at the beach at the end of the street were too rough. Magnificent big beach was a very easy 5min walk away as were the shops. Very quiet, apart from the sound of the crashing waves. Loved it!

  Very relaxing

  Stayed at the sunseeker lodge for 3 nights last week and could not be happier. The unit was everything i could have asked for, the beautiful pool and hot tub. A short walk to shops and restaurants and the managers were a delight. Certainly will be booking in again in the future.

  Not particularly clean

  Weve been traveling to Sunshine Beach for many years for family holidays and have never had an issue with the usual apartments we stay in. This time we decided to try the Sunseeker lodge apartments with the view of booming annually with a number of our friends up each year. We were extremely disappointed with the cleanliness of the apartment (as were other family members in other apartments there at the same time). The curtains in the main bedroom were covered in mould, the room had a smell like wet dog and under the bed it was thick with dust and dirt (see attached photo). The little outside courtyard looked like it needed a good clean, leaves everywhere. The fridge shelves were dirty, the oven needed a good clean, the kids room also had dirt all over the floor under the beds. The Venetian blinds were thick with dust as were the runners for the doors and windows. Walls were covered in marks. Im addition to this one of the tv remotes didnt have batteries and the main bedroom light didnt work. On checkout I politely mentioned to the lady on reception our concerns. Her reply this time of the year the cleaners are very busy and so can only do a surface clean. In my opinion this is a very poor reply from a customer service perspective as we have paid good money, and probably more costly rates than other times of the year, yet we are not entitled to a clean apartment? It feels like the place needs a good caretaker that checks on each apartment regularly for cleanliness and to see that all things are functioning correctly, so guests dont have to be the ones finding these things on arrival. We were very disappointed, as the apartments have great potential - they are spacious with a beautiful view of the water and grass for the kids to play on, but we have made the decision that we will not be returning to Sunseeker Lodge.

  Poor customer experience

  I did not end up staying at Sunseeker however I strongly believe in the interests of other families i provide this review on the experience I had dealing with the owner. Just so that families are not stranded 3 weeks before their holiday like we were. I booked accomodation for 7 nights in Jan 21 at Sunseeker Sunshine beach. I made the booking via air BnB in July 2020. The air BnB unit is managed by Jacinta the owner of Sunseeker. In Dec 20, I had to contact Jacinta to seek some information regarding my booking (&possible amendments by one night) and was told that she incorrectly doubled booked the Apartment allocated to us and unfortunately she could not accomodate us! This was 3 weeks notice !! My initial booking made in July 20 given January is a peak season. I always book my accomodation in advance. She was not apologetic at all and really didnt manage the situation appropriately. I completely understand human error but the lack of empathy from her was shocking. She actually said to me luckily I contacted her in Dec because if I arrived on the day in January to check in she would have had to turn my family away as she would not be able to accommodate us! She immediately cancelled my booking , my family was left with no accomodation and I could not review her on air BnB as she cancelled. So be aware if you book at Sunseeker be sure to confirm and reconfirm your booking ! Poor management and customer experience!

  What a fabulous find!

  I booked this property very last minute for Australia Day long weekend & had low expectations on what apartment would be left. We had a great checkin experience which was fast & easy & as we walked into the apartment we were blown away by the amazing view & spacious apartment. We are a family of four with two young children, this apartment was perfect for us, it had everything we needed for a relaxed long weekend. The apartment isnt super modern but it was clean with a well stocked kitchen & also had a great selection of books & games for the adults & kids. The pool & garden area are well kept & manicured with a communal BBQ that we used. There is a back gate that leads you down to the beach which was useful but a bit of a walk with kids & beach gear. We simply loved sitting on the balcony looking out to the ocean & watching the kids play in the pool directly below us (we were on the top floor & would recommend over the ground floor, only due to privacy). Well definitely be back again soon.
