  Mixed feelings

  Very unusual architecture and room has lovely aspect overlooking the lake. Nothing much to do in the area except go for a short walk but we used it as a hotel straight from the airport to recuperate during the day, use the spa and swimming pool (which was very nice) and then get picked up the next morning to go to the Great Wall at Mutianyu. For this the hotel was a good choice; however it was incredibly expensive we think having stayed in other hotels in China hence the mixed feelings.

  Service of staff

  I will not normally stay at this hotel, it is far and ok hardware but lousy service. This is my third time here, all in Novmeber, for our conferences. The last two times, front desk service and room cleaniess were the issues. Now I donot expect much on these two areas. This time, when we were in the conference room, I came out to get a coffee, the staff gave me a very small cup, I asked for more, she said that if I add milk that will be more!! I asked her to give me another serving, she was not pleased and showed it on her face. We had tea break snacks, they covered it with plastic, I asked if it is available, the staff said no. I took two pieces anyway, she scolded me. As it is close to noon, all snacks are still there, not being consumed by the attendees. What a waste, all because the staff did not remove the plastic cover. What a waste!! I mentioned this to the supervisor Tiffiany Huang. She was around and tried to hide from me. Her replied that she will enhence training, ok. Like I said, my experince from the last three years was poor and I will not stay here if I m on my own. I really wanted to see of I could stay here even if I m not attend the conference. NO! Disappointed, very.

  Good service

  This is my second time came to this hotel with conference. The concierge staff was very friendly and helped me with the luggage. The views restaurant has the winter hotpot menu. It tasted good. Just the WiFi was not fast, feel bad with it.

  I would like to give it 6 stars!

  Staying at this hotel was a dream come true for an Architectural lover like me. The hotel is beautiful and well maintained. The people working there are super friendly and helpful, though many of them hardly speak a word of English. The room we had on the top floor was stunning!! The views spectacular, we could see the Chinese Wall in the distance. The lake is so serene and beautiful. The buffet food in the restaurant is unbelievable good, great quality and enormous variety. Would have loved to stay a few more nights!!

  The best experience

  This is my first time to the hotel with my family. It is still excellent as usual. The hotel staffs are very friendly and kindly to me and my family. The front desk staff did a fast check-in process for us upon arrival. The lady in red helped us to make reservations for the restaurants. The concierge staffs helped us with luggage upon arrival and departure. The foods are good in the hotel. We had dinner in the brewery. Beer is recommended, very fresh and tasty. The breakfast is good also, multiple choices. And the Chinese restaurant is the ideal one; foods there are not too spicy to us. The swimming pool is good, the water temperature is warm. Of course, I wont forget the kids club; my little girl had the best time over there. We are really appreciated with the hotel staffs services and helps during our stay. We will definitely come back again.
