  Best Sleep Ever!!...

  Came back last Wednesday from a lovely weeks holiday at the Sunrise Inn. I really miss it!!..It is an old style traditional Hotel, I like that. Spotlessly clean. Lovely comfy bed, the air conditioning was a godsend in the searing heat! I found all the staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was really nice and plentiful for our needs. Didnt' want greasy fry ups every day!! I think they could improve on their evening menu. Wasn't the best food I had during our stay. It sufficed for one evening though. The hotel is located off the beaten track. It has its adavantages if you want a quiet nights sleep, totally peaceful, however I do suggest car hire to get about. I like the simplicity of the Hotel We had beautiful views from our room. I would definitely go there again.

  Very nice and relaxing

  Very nice hotel ran by a family with nice quiet pool and friendly staff. Clean rooms, nice playground for kids, snooker table, gym. It is very 'in the middle of nowhere', but some nice restaurants and a small market nearby.

  Nearly there

  Just returned from a week at the Sunrise Inn Hotel and it proved to be a good base to explore the island (which exceeded all expectations). It is a bit in the middle of nowhere and car hire is essential if you want to move around. The hotel grows on you. It is a little rough around the edges in some places but set in lovely gardens and spotlessly clean. Owners and staff increasingly friendly as the week progressed. The rooms were spacious enough,the aircon worked and the wifi was excellent (and free). We had 2 adjacent rooms and had a shared terrace which was lovely for sitting out together in the evenings with a bottle of wine. One of the rooms had a small shower with curtain, the other a bigger shower cabin. No shower gel or shampoo, just tiny soaps but we had brought everything with us. Towels were changed everyday which was a bonus. Only slight hitch was the flush of one of the toilets which was temperamental and never got sorted in spite of us flagging the problem. We were on B&B basis so cannot comment on the dinners. The breakfasts were perfectly adeguate. It is not a 5* All Inclusive hotel and doesn't pretend to be one, but there was more than enough to keep us happy and the coffee was not bad at all. All in all, a comfortable place to stay in a lovely location. Thank you Dmitri and staff and apologies for not saying goodbye (we had a very early start).

  No frills hotel

  The rooms at Sunrise are very clean, bedding is changed every 3 days and towels on a daily basis. Staff, in particular Dennis were friendly. The rooms all have a balcony, some with a sea view, however apart from a decent air conditioning system the room has no frills, The bathroom had a drain smell, and whilst the shower is adequate the heads have not been cleaned and the water flow is average. No shower gels provided. The room is plain and quite small with little storage space. A small fridge is provided and a hairdryer. The safe did not work (the key was jammed in the lock!) and one of the reading lights had no pull cord and could only be turned off by unscrewing the bulb. It was also apparent that previous occupants had been smokers, despite the hotel allegedly having a no smoking policy. These defects were pointed out to the owner, however nothing was rectified during our 9 day stay! Breakfast was adequate, however the cooked food was generally cold by the time we arrived, Having said that, the cost was relatively cheap and you get what you pay for! A car is essential as it is in the middle of nowhere!

  lovely hotel

  Really nice place, very quiet, surrounded by a beautiful garden and lots of olive trees. It is a little bit hidden from the mai road but that is a plus. It is about 10 km from Argostoli town. The rooms are the perfect size for families, with a large balcony. The breakfast is pretty much the same every day (eggs, cheese, ham, vegetables, greek bruschetta, greek youghurt, fruits) but all are good quality. Had a really nice stay, would come back again.
