  Relaxing time

  Staff were very helpful during the process of checking in and out. A porter kindly showed us to our room and explained how to use the room safe for which there was a charge of £1 per night. We were on the second floor and the room was modern with plenty of space. For the buffet breakfast there was plenty of choices. The omelette station was quite popular. The hotel reception provides beach towel with a 20 Lira deposit. I had a Turkish bath and a full body massage for £35. I was impressed with the level of hygiene. Staff showed great professionalism. From our room we could hear the music from the next door Dora hotel. The music would go on until early hours of the mornings. From outside the hotel there are bus services to Marmaris Town centre for a fare of 4 Lira.

  Good deal

  Very nice hotel, very clean. Staff is very nice. Nice breakfast. Seaview rooms are ok, but a bit noisy because of the street. Nice and big bathroom. Not the best wifi in the rooms. Need to bring your own shampoo. There were some soap. No beach or pool towels.

  Last minute holiday

  Stayed here last year. Lovely hotel. Spotless. You dont have to go down early for sunbed. Breakfast good variety. Had snack at pool very reasonable. Booked up again this year . Roll on july . Shops restaurants close by. Would recommend getting taxi to armutalan great restuarant being going to it for 3 years. Only 3 pounds in taxi. Sunrise also has private beach .

  Beautiful hotel highly recommended

  I have stayed here twice as a part of a couple and with my family. Its a lovely hotel so clean and very welcoming . The breakfast is amazing. Receptionist staff are very welcoming . It has its own private area of the beach and a lovely friendly circular bar by the pool for chatting to other guests. Great pool side food and cocktails on offer. My only suggestion for improvement and I believe it would be a great encouragement for even more guests, would be to step up the entertainment , there is a large unused area at the back of the hotel which would be amazing for dancing and music . That said The Sunrise is bang in between çmeler and Marmaris With an hour walk to çmeler and 30 min walk to Marmaris you dont have to go far ( lots of bars and restaurants on the way and its a lovely walk to çmeler especially in the cooler evenings , If however you dont want to walk its a very short, cheap dolmus ride either way. I highly recommend staying here if you want to go to Marmaris but not in a hugely busy area but want easy access if you do then this in my opinion is the best hotel to stay . But Sunrise think about the entertainment as then it would be perfection !

  (written Sep-2019) Im just writing this review having been home from Turkey for a couple of weeks and no longer in holiday mode bias. My review is about the Hotel, Staff & Service at Sunrise Hotel (Marmaris, Turkey). This was our third visit to this hotel, and all services have been of the highest standard and consistent each trip. Having travelled all over the world on business, I can honestly say this hotel is as good as some of the 4 & 5 star hotels I have stayed in. The high standard of cleanliness in this hotel, stretches to the Pool area and even the sunbeds and beach which are meticulously cleaned at the end of every day. There is a special mention for; Senol, Melih, Selami, Salih, Duran, Mustafa, Goban who have consistently delivered high service levels and delivered with an outstanding demeanour making everyone feel welcome. I cannot recommend the Sunrise Hotel more highly for anyone who wants to enjoy Marmaris.
