  Beautiful View

  Very nice staff. Room was outdated but clean. Excellent location. Beautiful views. Will stay there again. Excellent price. So close to the lake! Nice size balcony. Again, for the price, it was perfect

  Service turned away to a veteran; bait and switch pricing

  This place turned away service to a veteran (me) and my wife after a room we booked had water damage. They claimed they attempted to call, but we had no missed calls or voicemails left. While we waited there, a room came available from a last minute cancellation. They refused to provide us that room at the agreed original rate and wanted to charge us over $100 more. They refused to let us talk to a manager and would only claim the person was "unavailable". We had ridden for over ten hours to find out at 8pm. Everything in town was booked. Had to travel another half hour to find a place. In the time we waited, multiple people came in complaining of broken toilets and an array other issues. Their front desk failed miserably at simple service recovery to mitigate the situation and threatened to call the police when they failed to meet a customer's expectations. Showed absolutely no empathy for their own failures.

  Great place to stay!

  Upon arrival the two ladies in the office were personable and welcoming. We chatted and laughed for a little bit. The rooms were nice and the stay was peaceful and quiet. My kids loved the indoor/outdoor pool. Well be back!

  Sunrise Beach Hotel in Mackinaw City

  We stayed here back in September and came back to stay in October. We love this place! Great clean rooms, friendly staff. I am in the hospitality industry and I was very satisfied with our stay both times. Our second time here they were nice enough to give us an upgrade to a waterfront room. It made our stay that much better! This will definitely be our choice of hotel on every trip we make to Mackinaw!!"

  Just drive on, Filthy Dump

  When was the last time a hotel had more TERRIBE reviews than good reviews. That should tell you something right from the get go. We didn't stay after taking a closer look at the room, of course they didn't give us our money back. We did contact the county health dept. to file a complaint. Hopefully they can get them to clean up the place.
