  Very DISAPPOINTED!!

  The room size was good and there was always hot water night and day .Rooms cleaned daily (except Sunday). Towels changed when needed,plenty of loo roll, never ran out! The room did have a toaster and kettle and fridge.What was disappointing was the lack of self catering equipment and poor quality cooking utensils (frying pan was non stick ) so cooking a fried egg or anything else was a joke! food just burnt to and stuck to the frying pan and just one pan! there was no utensil for turning over food (had to buy one),crack in the washing up bowl, as there is no plugs to fill up the sink.no tea towels supplied( just a basic packaged for S/C would be appreciated) ie tea towel,washing up liquid,sponge /scourer I left some of these items behind so I hope the next guest gets them?A definite lack of sockets and poor lighting e.g. no socket or light near the dressing table area.Dangerously placed sockets near the cooking area,this room would be condemned for health and safety reasons in the UK,no smoke alarms in rooms,there was plenty of room in put a small table & chairs in the room ,as there was only the balcony set to use and a few nights it was very very windy ,so unable to sit out ,so had to eat our meal on our laps sitting on the bed!! only one pillow each so I used a blanket from the cupboard,only to find dried excrement on it YUK! I was eventually given another pillow, thanks to the cleaner/maid.Pool area too small for my liking,only sat there before going home ,we did order food a burger which was really nice. I have been to Tigaki before and really like the beaches and restaurants ,and the locals are nice.Sunny days is on a main road so it can get very noisy with traffic,another reason for not going back there! I thought the owner was unapproachable ,I got the impression she preferred to converse with German guests than anybody from the UK.The bar man was really lovely ,spoke to us made a gorgeous Golden Dream cocktail,his talents are wasted there!! On our cycling travels we found a wee gem of a hotel ,nice and quiet so will be booking that for next year.

  Great staff and Good value

  Hi I have just read a few reviews from people who stayed at the same time we did. I would like to add a touch of parity. Maria was very friendly and even gave us a lift into Kos town and gave us some great tips of where to go. Nicholas the barman always had time for a quick chat but never imposed himself on us. The breakfast was fine it was traditional Greek food if you want an English breakfast you can get one in Blackpool. The rooms whilst basic are very clean at about £45 per night including breakfast it's great value. As for the self catering aspect why not try one of the local tavernas at 40 euros for a great meal (2 people) including drinks. We would like to thank all the staff for a lovely stay. Maria kindly let us keep the room until 6 o'clock on the evening we left. This hotel does what it says on the tin.

  Great value for money

  Stayed here at the beginning of September for a week! Great location on the edge of the town but walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. Next to the supermarket. Staff were amazing and couldnt do enough for you! They bought soya for me for my coffee and they made a vegan cake for my birthday! Felt like I was visiting family! Pool area is beautiful and there were always enough sun loungers. Pool was a good temperature. We didnt use the self catering facilities as we went out for dinner everyday (food in Tigkaki is very cheap). Air con was wonderful and the fridge was great. These were free of charge and was much appreciated in the heat. We paid about £46 a night and for a b&b with such great facilities we would stay again! Great mixture of people at the hotel mostly from Northern Europe very friendly people!

  Great place to stay

  Good basic rooms.location ideal many tavernas restaurants in walking distance.15 min stroll to beach. Would have given 5 star review but needs updating which I believe is happening next year. Have stayed in Tigaki 5 times .sayed at sunny days twice.Will look forward to staying again in future. Maria and all of her staff very friendly .We Particulary loved the time we spent with Nicolas in the bar ,Great bar man played music to our taste.Keep up the good work.Thanks also to the lovely Bulgarian lady who kept rooms clean and fresh. [Just to make people aware 70 for air con for two weeks.Safe in room 25].

  Excellent, relaxed hotel

  Great hotel in good location away from the town centre but only a short walk to the many tavernas, restaurants and beaches. Maria, all her family and staff were very friendly, welcoming and happy to offer advice. The rooms are clean, comfortable with a good balcony and air conditioning. I'd certainly be happy to stay at Sunny Days again,
