  A Great Place to Stay

  Booked a last minute holiday and stayed at Sunlight Studios for a week. It is run by Kostas, Irene and family as well as a few lovely members of staff. We were made to feel very welcome from the minute we arrived and had a wonderful late summer break. The rooms are quite basic but clean and comfortable, whilst the bar/restaurant serves good food and a selection of drinks The resort itself is very quiet but this may have been due to the time of year or the Covid restrictions at time of visit. Would we return? - most definitely A big thank you to everyone at Sunlight Studios and we wish you all well Steve & Mary

  Sunlight studios

  We stayed at the sunlight studios for a last minute booking due to turkey getting cancelled, couldnt off picked a more friendlier more welcoming stay for a holiday. The apartments are run by Kostas ,boss man, and his lovely family and Rita his adopted daughter!!. They are so welcoming. The food at the hotel is lovely and the bar was stocked with a good selection of drinks. The rooms are typical Greek and are spacious with cooking facilities if needed. The town itself is very quiet but the hospitality of Kostas made up for that so no need to venture out if you didnt want to. Meet some lovely people whilst there with it being small and friendly. All in all had a great week away in the sun. Morse n Debbie

  Last minute holiday

  We booked this holiday after our holiday to Turkey was cancelled,we booked through Jet2 holidays and chose B & B over self catering as the price difference was not that great and if we have breakfast we can get through to evening without having to cook. The owner of the studios is Kostas and him and his family run the whole place. They have a small but very clean pool but we never went in as the water was a bit chilly but it was October,there were plenty of sunbeds available for all the guests as well as parasols to shade from the sunshine as the weather on the whole was brilliant and we returned home with a lovely suntan. The home cooked food available was very tasty and not expensive ,the bar was open till late most nights but was not noisy.There was a nice mix of people staying at the apartments and as it only has 25 rooms we met most of the guests in the bar or pool area. Our room was clean and could sleep 3 people with a double and a single bed,as others have said the beds are firm but not uncomfortable and we slept really well,the only problems we had was the noise of the fridge in the room but after the second night never heard it again,either we got used to it or the drink helped.the other problem was the shower in the bathroom ,the water flow was very poor but in saying that we managed 14 nights in the room and showered every night. Would like to mention Rita ,she worked very hard in the bar ,cleaned the rooms and the rest of the apartments and always had a smile on her face ,she is a real asset to yhe place and helped make our holiday special.

  Relaxing holiday

  We booked an holiday to turkey but it got cancelled the night be for we were due to fly out .I am so glad we ended up at the sun light studios. The following week we were welcomed act the hotel by one of the sons lukus made us very welcome he showed us to our room very clean lovely views. We came down had a welcome drink at the bar, then we met some other people then we met Kosta ireen the other sons and the rest of the family, lovely family it was even better when we meet some more couples is the best 10. Days that we have had nothing to much trouble for any of the family if you wanted anything at all and not for got you Rita cleaner and cook always smiling.   Great last minute week away!

  Chosen last minute as didnt want the craziness of an all inc hotel. The studios are good for what you need, plenty of space, lovely views and clean. Good pool area with plenty of beds, all very clean. Food and drink from the bar was well priced and delicious! Location wouldnt suit anyone wanting nightlife as there are only a couple of open restaurants and bars (Billys is a 15 min walk) plus a couple closer up the hill, but lots closed due to Covid and the impact on travel. Bus stop 5 mins away takes you to Rhodes Town and goes past the airport. Not very frequent but enough to have a day out. Loved it! Would return! Thank you Kostas,Thannos & all the team x
