  clean rooms and helpful recep

  the rooms were clean, the staff were helpful too. though it far abit from the town, there were a few shops near by. parking was provided at the back of the hotel, but its very dark at night, will be better if the infront parking was provided too, at least the hotel could provide us the parking tickets, so that we don't have to go further to find the tickets. definitely will come back for my next trip.

  A very clean hotel

  The location is in the commercial area of a residential park. A small but good selection of food outlets nearby the hotel. For a one night stop .. This budget hotel has nice roomy rooms which are very clean. No breakfast provided but you have choices for breaks as you walk out of the hotel. I really praise the front desk officer, Mr Redwan. Good man , informative , helpful, fast check in service, if he were in a chain hotel, hewould bring the brand up high. Parking is free n ample. The are some sundry shops near the hotel open to 10pm. Also an Italian food outlet next to the hotel on the same block. Across the road is a Mamak shop, chicken outlet n a few more local places... A bit further is an Assam Pedas Melaka food outlet. VALUE for Money.. Yes. Will I return..yes.

  Standard dropped

  Compare to previous stay before refurbishment, now the standard has dropped. - room aircon still warm though set at 16 degree Celsius. - Bath exhaust fan dirty. - Window trim dusty and stained. - pillow very flat. - soap dispenser empty, probably replace by small tube soap and shampoo which good for one guest use. - Only 2 bottles of 500ml water provided. - Water boiler and 2 cups provided but no coffee or tea. The outer part of hotel looks beautiful but in room comfort is important to me as I don't sleep or spent my time at lobby. Pretty disappoint this time.

  Very good, affordable, clean hotel - 2016

  We stayed during our Melaka trip 2016. It was a bit far from city but this place is nice and comfortable for us. Nice lobby interior We stayed on twin bed no window but it was okay, simple bright clean neat room with public shared bathroom. As I remembered some part of the hanging towel area was rusty but still acceptable. With the price we paid last time ard $20/night, it was a good deal.

  GREAT SUNFLOWER HOTEL MELAKA

  A great hotel ... very surprised it was 10 yrs old... seems and looked brand new and very well maintained .. friendly staffs and great lobby .. will definitely return to this hotel and advise others to do same ... thx Sunflower
