  Great staff, great spot

  The team at Sundance made us feel at home and really went out of their way to make sure our stay was a success. We had a great trip and highly recommend this spot. The pool and hot tubs were well maintained and accessible.

  Convenient and Comfortable Accommodation

  We have stayed at many ski resorts throughout the years. Sundance offers all the amenities a guest would expect. Their staff is friendly, knowledgeable efficient and eager to please. It is a 10 minute walk to the village center. A driver is available at request and the wait was short either direction for pick up. We would definitely consider staying there again if we return to Big White.

  Great location and stay, very comfortable in unit 326

  Liked · The view was superb. Not having anyone living above was great, very quiet. Pet friendly was great and thank you for the welcome with dog treat. Our friends had no problem getting parking passes at the front desk for the day. Disliked · We have had our own rental at Big White in the past and so thought you should know a few things. The interior oven light does not work. The dishwasher needs a new spring in the door. There was no salt and pepper (we had to ask and got small packets from the front desk.

  Beware spurious charges to your security deposit credit card after you have left.

  This was going to be a 5* review like many on here. We had a fabulous week at Big White, staying in a 3 bedroom 3 bathroom, well equipped, spacious, super apartment in Sundance Resorts. Sundance is ideally situated with ski in/ski out from the ski locker room, all the staff were extremely pleasant, welcoming and helpful and the heated outdoor swimming pool with water slide and lovely hot tubs were a bonus at the end of a day's skiing. Although we walked into the main village from the apartments it was reassuring to know that there was a free shuttle service provided by Sundance Resort should we have got stuck anywhere. BUT...Why only 1* you might ask. Imagine our surprise to find that our Security Deposit Credit Card had been charged with $55 (£39) after we had left, with no explanation whatsoever. Only when we arrived home over a week later and made several enquiries did we receive an explanation that the charge was for a large stain on the pillowcases. Dammed expensive pillow cases! We had a maid service all week and no mention was made of any stains. The "supposed' stain must have occurred on the last night. We have no knowledge of any stains on any pillowcases, but since it is our word against the managements' we have no comeback. This definitely left a NASTY STAIN on our otherwise idyllic holiday. Such a shame.

  We shared ajoining condos with our daughter, Son in law and 3 grand kids. Rooms were spacious,tv's all 3 rooms. Kitchens were well equipped and beds comfortable. the hotel has it's own private shuttle for guests. Just phone the front desk and they arrange pick up, tell the driver when to pick you up when you are done. Most of the village is only a ten minute walk away, but with small children and tired legs the van was a great feature. The resort has a games room, movie room, outdoor hot tubs, one for families and one adults only. The staff are friendly and very helpful. They pointed out the places with free kids dining, the free community bingo. And the kids games/ arcade night. There are activities every night for families and kids both at the resort and at the village. The resort has a room as you enter from the hill with lockable ski storage. Pick them up as you exit and ski to the chair. Outdoor pool with an indoor water slide was a hit with the kids. Indoor parking.
