  The room I stayed in was small but had the essentials. The breakfast menu is wide and the internet is okay. The staff seemed a bit aloof compared to the other Sunbird properties I stayed at. The hotel is very busy so make your bookings early.

  Nice

  Nice, clean, good staff. Very central, a bit much traffic if you get a room at the sreet side. Good pub, good resturant. Very nice pool area. All you need fir a work trip, good wifi, office service. Rooms are clean and good standard, int tv, BBC, CNN etc. Safety is good. I can recommend this for both holiday and wirk.

  This is a gem right in the heart of the city. We stayed on the fourth floor which has another reception. This has its own lounge with coffee and the two daily newspapers. It's quite an experience not to be forgotten. I found the staff very warm and helpful. We were very well received. We were on the swimming pool side of the hotel and this was extremely noisy due to construction which is taking place and looks like it will take a long time. Much as there is a notice of the construction in the rooms, there isn't any for those not residing in the hotel. Excellent breakfast but found it weird when my wife was told that breakfast is not for double. One of us was supposed to pay. I only got after both of us already had breakfast since we went separately, not deliberately though to avoid the extra charge. There is improved security on the street side and ample parking.

  Very comfortable clean room and bed. I slept very well. The staff were helpful and the hotel compound felt secure. I had breakfast in the hotel and there was a good range and choice of food, including a continental breakfast and local cuisine. I also ate in the hotel twice and the food was very good and plentiful however the service was very slow, even though there were only a few customers. Will definitely be staying here again when next I am in Blantyre.

  Average stay

  To be honest, I expected more from the hotel. Staff were friendly, and the facilities were better than most hotels in Blantyre. Rooms were a bit old, but comfortable. Construction on my floor led to a lot of dust. The best part of my stay would probably be the friendliness of the staff.
