Great location and a good price. We had a nice stay at the Sun Queen. The location is great with access to the monorail and a number of great restaurants and bars. The staff was great. We happens to get stuck in Okinawa during a typhoon and the staff at the hotel dealt with everything perfectly. The rooms are small but clean and well equipped. The best things about this hotel are the staff, location and price. I recommend it!

An ordinary hotel made great by its staff, location and reasonable ratesThis inexpensive hotel is located at the far end of Kokusai-dori (International Street) in Naha. A monorail station is a couple minutes way by foot, and there is plenty of nearby shopping and dining. The location is perfect. The hotel itself is not really new or wonderful, but very clean and well maintained, with a welcoming feel. It is more than adequate for the price. What makes this hotel especially nice is the staff. I stayed with my two kids, one of whom had a headache from the flight. We asked for ice, and when they heard about the headache, they gave us cold compresses as well. They were exceptionally kind and caring. We got cold compresses the next day as well, even though her headache had cleared up. The cleaning staff even made an impression. They refused to take a tip left under the pillow (not so surprising in Japan, but Okinawa gets a lot of foreign guests). One daughter brought her large stuffed dog, which took most of her luggage space. When they made the bed, they tucked the stuffed dog in nicely with its head peeking out and resting on the pillow. Did this two days in row. They stocked the bathroom with toothbrushes and the like much better than many 5 star hotels I have stayed at. This is a case where the staff takes a very ordinary hotel and really makes it stand out. Highly recommended. The WiFi was fine in our room as well.

Joyful StayI totally agree with previous reviews. Its joyful to stay in this hotel. Yes, its old. Yes, its not excellent and lack of facilities. But the hotel is very clean & comfortable, and it has excellent & friendly staffs. Location is great. Its just a three minute walk to monorail station. Theres a car rental company nearby. Its located on one end of Kokusaidori. Along Kokusaidori, you can find lots of shops and restaurants. I would say this hotel is better than many big name hotels. It's a small friendly hotel worth to recommend.

Budget HotelPretty decent hotel. For Japan the room was quite big. On the main tourist road and next to the monorail. Plenty of restaurants near by. Breakfast may not suit everyone as it's Japanese style. However, you could go out for breakfast. McDonald's is just 10 minutes walk away which does some stuff local style.

Acceptable hotel but can be betterNot bad hotel for the money but included breakfast has real poor choice of food The carpet on 8th floor is filthy with stains everywhere Rooms are very small particularly if stay before at bigger rooms which I did Fir the money they charge they may as well change the carpet Staff is very friendly and helpful Beds are comfortable and firm Location is central close to major tourist attractions There is monorail station nearby
