  Limpio, práctico y moderno

  Un hotel que está muy cerca del parque de atracciones Europark. Ideal para ir con los niños. Habitaciones limpias, tienen moqueta en el suelo como es habitual, pero muy moderno y muy funcional. Repitiría ya que la apuesta es segura. Un dato más, el personal es muy amable y servicial.

  El sitio para visitar Europapark ideal y el servicio de autobús estupendo evitas colas de parking y llegada,el desayuno bueno y el hotel limpio también para visitar la selva negra viene muy bien la situación del hotel los inconvenientes que no se puede comer en el hotel y hay que desplazarse ,en Ringsheim hay algunos restaurantes,también las vistas son un poco tristes una carretera con un taller de tractores ,la Tv tiene muy mala recepción pero en general para lo que buscábamos cumplió nuestras expectativas.

  Close to theme park Europa Park

  Sun Parc Hotel is a cosy hotel however not too big which means that one needs to book in good time. Rooms are not too big either like the shower enclosure is a little on the small side aside from that the hotel is nice and clean. Matresses a bit too soft. No mini bar in rooms nonetheless they offer complimentary bottled water at arrival. Wifi works well everywhere. Satisfactory breakfast buffet with international breakfast included. The reception also serves as a bar where they (AOT) serve draught beer. Sun Parc Hotel offers a shuttle bus to Europa Park in Rust. Our driver was very friendly and even if my German is somewhat broken we managed to communicate quite well. The hotel doesn't have a restaurant solely a breakfast room.

  Near Europa Park

  Stayed overnight after visiting Europa Park. We got a code to get in the hotel in the evening. Worked well thank God. Reception was on off duty. But we got clear instruction about our room key beforehand on the telephone plus email, as I informed them that well be coming after 8pm. Room was clean, basic but nice. I liked it. Big flat-screen TV. Good wifi. A bottle of sparkling water with glasses. No fridge though, sadly. Nice big window that we could open. Parquet floor. Small bathroom but ok. Nice breakfast on the second floor. Slept well on the mattress, very important. Check out was easy and without a fuss. Parking was ample. Dog was allowed at a fee of 10 per night. Theres enough green outside and around the hotel for the dog for little walks. Just across the road, in front of the hotel, theres Norma grocery store and a kebab/Pizza restaurant with seating areas. Pizza was yummy and cheap. The mixed salad looked great too. The sun parc hotel doesnt have its own restaurant. But I saw that they have a nice lobby. In a nutshell Ill stay at this hotel again in the future.

  Not COVID-19 friendly

  We chose this hotel (Sun Parc Hotel in Ringsheim) for its proximity to the Europapark and wanted to spend there a night before visiting the amusement park during the weekend. Unfortunately, we could not visit the hotel or the park as we were sent to Quarantine (Contact to a positive COVID -19 person) by the German health authorities a day prior to our trip. The Hotel was very incomprehensive with our situation (which is unfortunately not rare in the current COVID-19 Pandemic) and did not show any flexibility in allowing us to cancel our reservation with a reduced fee or postpone it for the future. We were forced to pay the whole amount for a room we were not allowed to use. We were already disappointed enough to be forced to stay at home instead of enjoying a trip we had been waiting for some weeks with expectation, the fact of losing money made us feel even worse. The same Europapark understood our situation and changed our reservation, allowing us to postpone it Sine Die, which is something we are really grateful for. But the hotel did not have the same comprehension. The hotel even let us understand, that they were open to receive us if we wanted (even with the risk of taking someone being sent to quarantine) but the paid fee was not refundable. We therefore do not recommend doing any reservation in this hotel, not only do they show little flexibility in understanding the current situation, but they also seemed to prefer taking the risk of taking clients which were in contact with a positive covid-19 before returning the fee for the room (even partially).
