  A great place to stay

  I stayed at the Sun Island Suites in July 2019 to attend a friend's wedding events. And while my stay was not considerably long, it was a very enjoyable stay. This location, unfortunately, does not seem to be as well known as other hotels because taxi drivers do not immediately recognize Sun Island Suites by name. I think this is a shame because it is a great value for its price. The road leading to the suite grounds might be intimidating due to the steep driveway that needs to be climbed, but you are rewarded with amazing views from the hilltop location, not to mention the cool breeze that will blow constantly. The rooms are very spacious. Each suite has a complete kitchen, a large living room, a garage port, 1.5 bathrooms, and spacious bedrooms. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Everyone I walked by would not fail to greet me with a smile. Reception is always willing to help and would go above and beyond when it came to answering questions or making suggestions to make my time in Bali better. And if no one was available to help or answer a question, the staff would quickly call on someone else who could. Other miscellaneous things to mention are that each suite has its own pool, ACs in all rooms, and the rooms come with a variety of amenities such as an iron board and iron, towels, soaps, shampoos, shaving kits, and cotton swabs. The suite grounds have a good wi-fi connection, as well. I wholeheartedly recommend staying at this location. Whenever I make a trip back to Bali, I will certainly be eyeing to stay here again.

  Magnificent View, total relaxation

  Loved our stay, would definitely book here again. Just a short scooter ride to other areas of Jimbaran. Staff were great, nothing too much trouble. Bath is amazing. Very clean and super large compared to others. Would highly recommend for a wedding group to rent out a number of villas at the same time.

  Excellent choice

  Highly recommended for those who want to enjoy a quite atmosphere and have a really nice view of Pandawa beach. Staff were very helpful and service was perfect. Special thank you to Budi the manager of the place for making our stay very enjoyable.

  Amazing Property

  We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa earlier this week with friends. The villa is huge and was very well presented. Beds super comfy! Staff very helpful. If you do choose Sun Island just be aware it is about a 15-20 minute drive to Jimbaran Bay (but a free shuttle is provided at 5pm each day to get there which is great) as you are a little isolated from any restaurants. Also about 20 minutes to Blue Point Bay. The property is currently building an onsite restaurant which will be a great addition!!! We recommend to have the Grab or Gojek app to get where you want to go from Sun Island and then use local transport back to the property. Even though it is a little isolated it was very relaxing to return after the hustle and bustle of Uluwatu.

  Never again

  For a 5 star villa the curtains were torn, the maintenance of the villa is not a 5 star standart, the toilets were dirty with pieces of s**t all around the toilet bowl. There is a kitchen but nothing to cook. there is a cleaning service all day but they leave the dirty plates and cup in the kitchen for one entire day. All days we've need to ask for toilet paper, towels The breakfasst was not done in the villa, was done outside and was very poor, sometimes they forgot one breakfast on three, industrial fruit juice, every time we asked for something, it was not avalaible fresh fruits were not mature and sometimes passed. The manager, Mr Bagout try to do everything possible, but without money from the owner it is very difficult. On the price it was including one day trip return with the private driver, unfortunelly, we have asked two time the driver but it was not possible to have the car because the driver was not avalaible. The third time, Mr Bagout, the manager drove us to Nusa Dua and we have need to ask a taxi for every others visits in town. We had to ask for the water fountain to be refill and the boy said that he knew that it was empty but forgot to do the job. The last day, the lady in charge of the housekeeping told us that there were two towels missing but the day before they forgot to place those towels in our bathroom, we didn't appreciate this comment, we haven't seen her during the all 10 days and when we left, she came and inspect the villa with a very arrogant comportment, she should control her team before telling the guests that there is some things missing. Mr Bagout trid his best and offer us a barbecue but the dommage was done. Good luck to him it will not be easy to work in those conditions. We have rent the villa for 10 days, never again. Beautiful view. The rooms are big and the bathroom too. TV didn't work very well and after ask to the personal, no action were done.
