  Excellent beach - 3 star hotel

  The beach is excellent. The hotel is very 3 star. Might have been 4 star at one time but no longer. Had to move rooms due to very foul sewer odour in our room. While the staff was accommodating and the replacement room quite nice I must warn others of the possibility of problems. Breakfast is very basic.

  Great view, nice beach

  The rooms were really old fashioned but it had some charm to it. The balcony had a great view over the beach but the balcony door wasn't really soundproof and you could hear the waves outside. The breakfast was average. Would recommend coming there by car because there is no possibility to walk from there to near towns. The beach was nice.

  The only comfort is the beach

  Despite being upgraded to the suite it is still not a place for a normal family holidays. It is now almost 15 p.m. And we can't go to sleep as there are screams and noise from other guests. The hotel doesn't have any soundproof facilities or policies that would protect you from sreams and shouts of neibors. Should you add to this a really poor breakfast and overpriced dinner option, I wouldn't call it a worth-visit place.

  Disappointed

  This hotel is quite expensive for what it is. The beach is lovely and sea is perfect. The rooms are extremely basic and shower room badly need updating. Its weird but you cant spend money in the bar or restaurant, everything has to go on the rooms, so if youre eating with friends who are staying in another room, its s VERY long process to order a meal. I think I would look around for a different hotel if I went back.

  Wonderful relaxing stay

  We stayed at the Summit Hotel in Gaeta for 2 nights with our two children (7 & 5) in late August 2019 and it was wonderful. Although the room was basic it was clean and spacious and the hotel staff were superb, they couldn't have done enough for us. Breakfast like all Italian hotels was a basic affair but perfect for us and lunch was delicious! We had dinner once in the Blue restaurant where the views were spectacular. Although the menu was a little fancy for the children, the waiters were happy to go off menu and make them a plate of pasta which they loved. My favourite thing about the hotel was having access to the most beautiful beach. We had a very comfortable stay and hope to visit again.
