  Great place, great location

  The room was clean and comfortable and the location was really great. Close to the Main Street, cinema, woolies, cafes etc. Allan (the owner) was really hospitable and gave us some pointers of nice areas to visit, how to get there and kept us in the loop about what was happening during our stay there.

  Great Place

  Would highly recommend Summerhill Motor Inn, very clean, great location & excellent hosts. Allen always letting us know what is going on in town & able to answer all our questions. It was our second stay, which was unfortunately cut short due to Covid but we will definitely be coming back. Thanks Allen

  Unexpected Overnight

  Called ahead at short notice to check for vacancy for a Saturday night as we made an unexpected detour to Merrimbula. It was Jan 2, peak season and Alan was lovely over phone. Online check in and details were SMS to us as we expected to arrive late. Room in perfect condition. Clean & updated. Sadly the weather was not the best as photo of pool area shows.

  Great location, clean rooms, friendly service

  My bestie and I had a wonderful time at SummerHill Motor Inn! Allen and his family are incredibly friendly, great for a chat and have great knowledge of the local area. The location of the motor inn is right in the middle of town, the rooms are clean, have smart tvs and comfy beds! Plus we were greeted with a bottle of bubbles for a NYE gift. We unfortunately had our holiday cut short with Victoria shutting the border to NSW (from COVID) and Allen refunded the nights we didnt stay! How incredibly generous is that! We said well back to stay, and we certainly will be since we didnt get to see everything in the area that was on our to see list! Thanks Allen/SummerHill Motor Inn!

  Great location and view, comfortable, and well maintained and serviced

  We stayed at Summerhill for a week in January 2021. We had to move from a different location in Merimbula due to limited accommodation availability over the New Year holiday season. The hotel proprietor (Allan) was very accommodating, and gave us a room on the top floor with a great view of the bay from the room and terrace, and only two other rooms on the floor so quite private. He also provided a complementary bottle of sparkling wine. The room was well equipped with a small kitchenette, good sized bathroom, large desk, sitting area with settee, and wide-screen TV. A new bed/mattress had recently been installed and was very comfortable. The room was serviced every 2-3 days, and the housekeeping staff were very thorough also providing additional milk, biscuits, toiletries, etc, when needed. There was some nice landscaping with different types of plants and decorative fountains, and a pool area with a sun terrace. We enjoyed sitting on the terrace in the evening with the view of the bay and the ocean beyond. The location is also ideal, with a 5-10 minute walk to the main street and shops / restaurants. We can recommend Summerhill and will definitely stay there again.
