  Really pleased

  We booked this holiday last minute. The past reviews were very mixed so we were quite apprehensive however when we got there we were more than happy. The reviews were correct in the sense that the sheets didnt fit... I took my own and they didnt fit either! The glasses, mugs etc werent all there but we wanted to eat out every evening and eating out is pretty inexpensive. Past reviews also commented on the sofas being ripped, ours were too but it wasnt a deal breaker. What we loved about the place - being met early hours of the morning, a clean apartment, Maggies bar, it was gated and secure for children, close to restaurants and the British apartment owners at the pool were so welcoming and friendly. We didnt pay 5 star prices and didnt expect 5 star. Overall we were 2 families together and we had a great time.

  Beautiful complex but staff let it down

  I recently have just got back from a two week holiday with my family and my 4 month old baby and I stayed at summer dreams apartments. The rooms: We stayed in a one bed room apartment which was perfect size for a family of 3 there was enough room for the pram the cot and all your luggage. In your room living area you had a Kitchenette which had a small oven, toasted, microwave, fridge and kitchen accessories. Our fridge broke whilst there but within hours a brand new one was replaced which was great. The bathroom was a ok size however we didnt get a bath so I had to bath my 4 month old in the sink each night which wasnt ideal. The bathroom didnt have any shower curtain or door on so when you showered it flooded the bathroom and the tiled floor was so dangerous. The bedrooms were big and had lots of wardrobe space. We had an issue with the cleaning of the room as we wasnt informed when booking your room was only cleaned every 3 days. This was a struggle when running out of toilet role and having dirty towels. But sometime it could be 5 days before it was cleaned which was a joke I think on our 14days our room was cleaned 2-3 times. Pool area: The pool area is lovely and the pool is big enough for everyone. We loved using the pool bar. We had a lot of issues during our holiday around the pool as there were two security guards who swapped shifts we named them the nice security guard and the grumpy security guard. When the nice man was on we had no problems a lovely relaxing day by the pool with my family however when the grumpy man was on it was a completely different day. If there was a slight bit of breeze he would be coming around taking the parasols that are advertised as free on your booking down because it was to windy. Even when I told him no the baby needs shade he would just shrug and ignore me. We went to reception to complain and it ended up the whole pool side arguing with the staff to keep my baby in shade. They told us if the parasol breaks because of wind we would have to pay £50! It was a joke they had no tables or chairs in the shaded area so there wasnt any other shade apart from your parasol. We ended up having to buy cheap pop up ones which didnt break in the breeze like they said their big expensive ones would. On our second week the vista management decided to cable tie laminated signs on the each ladder in the pool and on the showers informed us that we cant reserve beds unless we are using them which I understand as some people would put towels out at 7am and go the beach and not return till 2pm. However once again the grumpy security guard took this to another level! My partner went to the room to make our baby a bottle and within a second he was over trying to take his towel away. Whilst holding my baby Im telling him no and he ignored me taking the towel off and throwing it at me. Later in the week me and my family all got in the pool together and yet again mr grumpy came over and tried to move our towels. It was disgraceful that you cant move off your bed! But when the other security guard was on it wasnt an issue. Food and drink: The pool bar served all soft drinks, hot drinks and alcohol as well as snack food of a day. However the complex restaurant was closed our whole holiday which they need to change online as when we booked we was informed the hotel had a restaurant. Maggie who runs the pool bar is lovely and will do anything for you always happy and smiling I think she was the only staff on the site who made an effort with everyone and was very smiley. Maggie and her daughter Stella made us feel welcome and loved my little girl always coming to see her and make her laugh. There is a supermarket in front of the apartments which isnt badly priced that do snacks drinks and little things you may need. Location: The hotel is set back a little from the main area of shops, bars and restaurants but its only a 10-15 minute walk away. When you come out of the hotel and turn left you go past the shop keep going straight and youll pass another small hotel and then there is a cut threw and you walk threw there past the royal sun hotel and then you will see a zebra crossing cross there keep going straight and youll come into the main part. Travelling: We got a coach to the hotel when we arrived and we was dropped off on the main road. I had to climb out of the coach with my baby on the main road. We then had to take 6 cases, a pram, cot and hand luggage down the road to the apartments which was full of pot wholes. When getting picked up we had to stand on the corner of the main road whilst dust was blowing everywhere and wait 30mins for our coach. I would suggest paying that bit extra for private transfers as it would be well worth it especially if your travelling with children.

  Worse place ever

  Just back from a week at these apparments I can say they are the worse holes in the bedding shower trays filled that much with water the kids were falling very unsafe the place was so dirty cleaners came once to leave towels that was it no beds changed at all the apparments our out of the way they are not close to the strip at all the security men our nasty to the point they make you feel unwelcome had a problem with our key card and they just looked at you and shouted weres ur key and u told them key didn't work they still wouldn't help.the only good thing about this place is Maggie from the bar she was amazing but my advice stay away.

  Worst apartment ever!

  The apartment we where provided with on arrival was not fit for purpose, there was things in the apartment which where damaged and broken and the room itself was a hazard and could of caused injury. After notifying the reception team they where unhelpful, rude and couldnt really care less. We was left nearly all week without towels and linen and had to go and request them ourselves from the cleaners. Thanks to a lovely couple who voluntarily gave us their apartment for the rest of our stay we was able to enjoy the rest of our holiday, and also to the amazing lady who runs the pool bar on the complex, she was a massive help and if it wasnt for her we would not return. Safe to say if we do return we will not be using bookings.com or vista!

  Worst apartment ,not cleaned for 5 days ?? No reception staff about . Restaurant totally closed . We left some items behind and tried contacting them several times even through face book messenger and they have read the messages and still No reply . Stay clear
