  Not a great location overlooking the motorway

  Lovely owner initially, no reception when we got there so we had to make an international call to work out how to get in to the apartment. Nice and clean, the apartment itself was ok but the bed and the outdoor umbrella was broken. We had to move the mattress on to the floor to sleep comfortably. There was a spoon to try to support the broken part! When we let the owner know about the issue there was no acknowledgement at all. The location was awful, overlooking the motorway/freeway and it was noisy.

  Overall not that good

  Noisy and sometimes very stinky location close to the sea, very close to the highway bridge. Called "Ville" is wrong, they are appartments (2 story building). Private parking is very narrow and sometimes impossible to get in because of other not well parked cars. Appartment was very clean and all worked perfectly well. Staff was very kind and smiling. Check in and check out was much too slow, due to the fact the owners don't live in the same spot. The city itself is beautiful and got many interesting things to see and do. Major other famous West Sicily places are easely reachable by car. I will definitely return to Mazara, but I won't book that appartment.

  Close to the beach:) clean, nice and pets friendly :)

  I liked staying in Sud12. Nice and helpful staff, clean rooms, kitchen and bathroom in the room, beautiful balcony, really close to the sand beach, where you can find many bars. supermarket is quite near.

  Muy buena experiencia

  Estos apartamentos son muy cómodos y tranquilos y cercanos a la playa, pasamos unos días muy agusto viajando por Sicilia desde Mazara. Muy recomendable para viajar en coche desde allí para ver Marsala, San Teodoro o cruzar el mar hasta favignana. También para visitar otras ciudades como agrigento

  a lost occasion, not worth the price

  What will you find here? "Ville" is a serious overstatement. They are small apartments (ground or first floor) with one bedroom, one toilet with shower and an open space kitchen/dining room with a double bed in it. The front yard is potentially nice but it is close to a noisy motorway, on a stinky street with chronic problems with drains. Sewer runs very close to the building and is undersized so it has to be emptied two or three times a day by a small cart with a vacuum. The black water surfaces on the road and the stink is sometimes unbearable. We understand it is up to the local Council to fix this problem. The back yard is surrounded by a concrete wall and in the evening is almost dark as some of the lamps can be switched on only if the tenant of apartment n.6 is in. Staff can be friendly, but there is no reception so it may be difficult to get hold of them. In reality, customer care is appalling. They were supposed to clean the apartment and change towels and linens every 3 days but actually they came just once in 10 days and only because we specifically called the housekeeper. The status of the property is suboptimal and the flats may need a bit of refurbishment. There is no washing machine and no freezer. If you like coffee, bring your own coffee machine. The beach close to the house is terrible, with mountains of seaweeds left to rot under the sunshine, just to add some further smell to the open sewer. The town centre can be reached on foot but it is a 2 miles walking. On the other side, Mazara is a nice town, probably a bit run down, with an interesting city centre and a lot of amazing restaurants and "pasticcerie", where you can taste the true flavours of Sicily.
