  Desagradable

  A parte de que la ubicación del hotel no es muy buena, lo peor es lo desagradable del personal de su restaurante. Atienden de mala gana y la comida no tiene el más mínimo interés. Precios elevadísimos para lo poco que ofrecen. En la zona, muy cerca, hay ofertas gastronómicas muchísimo más atractivas.

  Great stay in Strobl

  A clean, new, well located hotel in centre of village. Stayed as a family with triplle room. Room was spacious and very clean. beds are comft. with a nice private terrace. Good fresh breakfast. 2 mins walking to lake. very good restaurants near hotel: Mexican and pizza ... and restaurant of hotel itself which i didnt try, but seemed special and classy.

  The ownwer is very rude . First gave a room with a cemetery wiev. Insisted not change the room . There are also more. The owner woman also pushed us to eat in their tex mex. nationalist . They refused to translate the menu. Said we were in Austria. Dont let the book foreigners . German and Austrians ok. And the is noisy hotel.

  Nicely situated hotel on lake Wolfgang

  This hotel is well maintained and rooms were recently renovated. Everything is very clean and tidy. The rooms at the front are quite noisy as there is a bar in front of the hotel so you can people talking till late night. The bathroom door was half transparent so there is no privacy in the toilets. We visited during warm days in August and the room was boiling hot as there is no AC or fan and there is no airflow through the room. The hotel has a nice pool and a large back yard which is good for children. Breakfast is very good and service is excellent. The Tex-Mex restaurant is quite meh.

  Nightmare in Wolfgang

  We are a family of four- two parents and two teenagers (14 and 16). We booked this hotel for three nights near Wolfgang see on booking.com. The price was relatively high, and it didnt include breakfast. In general, we book two rooms with one double bed for the parents, and two single beds for our kids (boy and girl). According to the description on booking.com, this hotel was exactly for us. We arrived at the hotel, and found out that there are no single beds as described, and only are two beds one above another, but not bunk. The distance between the beds is a joke (as you can see in the pictures). The lower bed is suitable only for a child under 5 years old. If you are higher than 1 meter, you would not be able to fold your legs, or to turn around in bed during your sleep. This night was the most horrible night we ever had. Also, the upper bed wasnt secured at all. Few minutes after we arrived at the room, we immediately informed the hotel manager that we need to change the room. The managers (wife and husband) told us that there are no other options, and we cannot cancel the reservation. In the morning, after the most horrible night weve ever had, the managers didnt have any other options for us. They didnt even apologized. They claimed that the Booking.com description of the room was not correct (2 single beds) and that the correct description (bunk beds) was sent to the site but not featured in it. They told us that this is Booking.coms fault and not theirs that is why the only thing they can do is to charge us for full price for 1 night 270 euro + taxes(I was surprised that if you book directly the price of this room is 220 euro only)We asked to pay 220 euro but managers refused-they told us that they have to pay to booking.com so they can not reduce the price. Again, no apologies-nothing ! They even did not offer breakfast to us -we paid the full price for breakfast (50 euro!) and left the hotel very disappointed and angry.
