  Good location in a beautiful town.

  The motel's position is excelent. The views from the venue are outstanding. Rooms without a view lack a little interest and are starting to show a little age. Having said that, they are clean and well equiped. Bed gave a very good night's sleep.

  Happy to find this

  This is a basic, This is clean pleasant accommodation, the room was preferable to the previous ones we stayed at in much more expensive accomodation. Would stay again. Somerset is beautiful on the coast. The food was good, the fact many of the locals ate there the night we did says a lot for their food.

  Excellent location

  Welcome with a bottle of wine for our honeymoon. Excellent location close to cruise, train, restaurants and supermarket. Seafood buffet was amazing! Great view, fresh seafood and great service. Room is clean but some upgrade would make it better.

  Perfect location in Strahan for Macquarie Harbour cruises

  We stayed onw night at Strahan Village in a waterfront terrace - perfectly located to stroll around the harbor and catch the cruise the next morning. The room was clean and comfortable - unfortunately the spa wasn't working, but this wasn't a major issue for us. We also couldn't seem to be able to access the wifi. Definitely recommend walking up the stairs to the View 42 bar - we had the cold seafood platter to share between the 2 of us instead of going into the buffet - it was delicious, plenty of food and the view was wonderful!!

  The usual corporate serve but with great views

  Maybe it was because we booked through a web travel page, that we were disappointed with the Standard Hilltop Room that we got. Instead of the great views of Strahan and Macquarie Harbour that were shown on the website, we had a view of the Carpark at the back of the hotel. When the bus started up and let its motor run outside that just highlighted it. The room was hot and tired and in need of a coat of paint and the buffet dinner was average and overpriced. Nevetheless, the bed was comfortable, the views from the front of the hotel are absolutely stunning and a drink on the patio in the afternoon sun, admiring the view, was very pleasant. If you choose this hotel, get a room with a view. Otherwise it's just like any other run tired corporate hotel.
