  Excelente lugar y atención, la vista es increíble, te sientes como en una cabaña muy acogedora en el medio del bosque, muy buena atención, lo único que tengo para agregar y me gustaría mejorarán es la cama pedimos una cama king y eran dos pequeñas pegadas y sobre estás un colchón king que se hundía en el medio de la unión de las dos camas, aparte de esto todo fue excelente, la comida el bar y las áreas del lugar.

  Ski Vacation

  What a relief to arrive at The Stowehof after a harrowing drive through what was billed as a big snowstorm that turned out to be a sloppy ride. We just wanted to get out of the car and situated. We were met be Jayton (hope I spelt that right) at the front desk. He must have sensed what we went through and went out of his way to assist us and expedite our check in. He was amazing. Luckily he was able to also secure us a reservation at the Stowehofs Fritz restaurant which did not involve getting back in the car!!!!!!! It immediately calmed our nerves and allowed us to begin our vacation. We cant thank him enough. After getting into our room we had a couple of requests and the staff couldnt have been more helpful. Ryan was like having a friend at the hotel. He also did things fast. It was obvious that he was assisting other guests but we were made to feel like it was only us that needed help. In any event we were thankful for his help in making us comfortable during our stay. We had a great time and vacation at the Stowehof, found the place cozy and charming, but the staff made it feel like home. Also shout out to Dave our server at the Fritz. He guided us through the menu, which was eclectic and well done. In all we, including Danny (@myowncarguy.com) had a great time and look forward to coming back soon. Thank you

  Stayed in the Wiessner Suite for a ski/workcation

  We stayed in the Wiessner Suite for a week in late January during Covid with intentions to ski a few days/ work a bunch/ and make our own meals in their full kitchen. We arrived to a much bigger suite than anticipated, and felt we had plenty of room as the livingroom/dining room/ and kitchen areas are bigger than in the pictures. Also, the bed was super comfortable, and the bathroom had heated tile floor with a very large walk in closet. We later learned that this was at once time the Manager's residence. During our stay, there were only a few other guests staying in the entire place - it was very quiet and slow. We felt we got a great deal on our suite for the week. We

  BEWARE

  This hotel could be a GEM almost mid century. However the rooms are from the 1980's old gross carpet, beds are awful. The bed sunk to the center like it was sinking in a hole. I would not stay here again. This hotel needs a GUT.

  Bats in the walls

  There were literal animals moving around in the walls, keeping us awake at night. The building and staff were lovely but its hard to get past being woken up by the sounds of things flying around in the walls and ceiling.
