  Ski in/out AMAZING... condo not so much

  You can't beat the location of Storm Meadows East - easy and convenient, however this unit needs to be updated. It met our needs and was a great last minute find for a quick trip that wasn't pre-planned. However, with a little updating to fix curtains, carpet and out dated worn out items - it would make a world of difference. Safe and secure, elevator in building, nice size ski storage locker and the wonderful fire pit slope side were nice bonuses.

  Location was great...but the condo was not!

  My family and I spent 5 days there...Dec 23 thru the 27. For the most part, we had a nice time. The location was amazing, and view was great...but the unit was not. Besides being a little outdated, the unit was dirty. The sofa was kinda sticky, the comforters were a little dingy, and the carpet was worn out, and dirty. But the worst part was the was hundreds of dead flies throughout the unit...literally! It was gross! My wife spent two hours cleaning the unit, before we unpacked. Another thing that was a little upsetting, was when my family and I arrived with our bags, and groceries, and found the maintenance crew for Mountain Resort occupying the guest parking, in the front entrance, next to the handicap. Normally it wouldn't be a big deal...but it was right in the middle of Christmas, snowing, and it was 17 degrees. Need less to say, it would have been nice, to not have to carrying my luggage, groceries, and gear across the parking, while the employees was parked in the front, when I a paying customer. But that's just me. Other then that, everything else was OK. The view and the location, were excellent! It was a true ski in/ski out. The fire pit area was nice.

  Gerat location

  The location of Storm Meadow East is perfect if you really want a ski in /out location. The rooms are pretty dated but they are clean. they have a shuttle service but it only runs at night. During the day you can get a shuttle down to the local bus pick up to go to town.

  Fantastic time

  It was a good place to stay. The kitchen was wonderfully equipped. There was a loft with a door so the kids (adult) had privacy. They also had there own bathroom. Mountain Resorts was super. Had a problem with a key; they came right away, bringing new keys.

  Unit SEO50

  Because of the pandemic, it was important for us to have a ski in/ski out unit that we could go in for lunch or any other reason during the day. We stayed in Unit 50 at Storm Meadows East and not only was it convenient for lunch, it was perfect for all of our other needs. The unit has been updated and was extremely well stocked with kitchen utensils. The view from the balcony was perfect and the fireplace added to the ambience. We loved staying here and if we get the opportunity to visit Steamboat again, we will stay at this specific unit again, even when the Pandemic is over!
