  Room was v clean. Loads of natural light from the 3 windows. Due to covid restrictions, breakfast was served at our door to eat in our room. We did meet our hosts. But as the dinning room was closed, we didn't meet any other guests to chat to. The road was quiet. Just a short walk to town centre. Car park available. lovely stay.

  A relaxing, comfortable and very safe stay

  We came here based on recommendation from a friend and didnt disappoint. Lovely comfy bed, plenty of room and anything we asked for was provided no questions asked. Breakfast was great and I kind of liked the way we got it delivered to the room, means I didnt have to get dressed! I couldnt have asked for more in terms of cleanliness and COViD-19 safety, they really thought of everything to minimise transmission risk and although that did lose some of the normal personal touch, we had some lovely chats via text message! It helped to relax knowing you felt safe in their guesthouse. Would definitely stay again, perfect location, car parking was good often lacking in that area, thank you Stephen and Di for a lovely stay!

  Fantastic Guest House

  Fantastic Guest House. My wife and I have just had a two night stay at the Stonegarth Guest House in Keswick and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The Guest House had a very rustic look and feel about it, a private off road car park and stood out amongst surrounding Guest Houses. Obviously circumstances were unusual due to COVID restrictions, but the owners Stephen & Di had gone above and beyond the requirements needed. Check in was easy, with sanitised keys waiting at the entrance. The Guest house and rooms were immaculately clean and sanitised. Breakfast was plentiful and cooked to perfection, ordered and placed outside our room door at a requested time. We were able to contact the owners via text messaging during our stay with any requirements, which were dealt with immediately. If you are going to Keswick, this is the place to stay.

  Lovely stay in difficult times

  My wife and I had a lovely relaxing two night stay last week, should've been four but was cut short due to the lockdown. The guest house and room is very clean, plus it's quiet being a short walk to town. A nice touch that umbrellas were provided if you needed them. As people have said in other reviews, the breakfast was served in the room, on the time requested and both meat and vegetarian options were extremely hearty and served nice and hot. I had seen other reviews about it being served in card board box and plastic cutlery, but this wasn't the case. It was served on proper plates with metal cutlery. A great place to stay & we'll hopefully be back next year.

  Fab Stay

  Just come back from a lovely 4 night stay at Stonegarth, room very clean, breakfast served in your room at the time you request, nice choice and plenty of it, sets you up for the day, due to Covid Stephen and Di can be contacted by text and are happy to help with your requests, great that there is parking, Stonegarth is in a great location, just a short walk into the centre of town, hope to visit again as soon as we can.
