    Actualización de Last minute realizada con éxito

    Nosotros teníamos planeado quedarnos en otro complejo, en un apartamento más pequeño. Debido a problemas de fontanería, los propietarios nos ofrecieron un apartamento más grande. Estuvimos en la 301, que tenía 3 dormitorios con 3 baños. Dos dormitorios tenían su propio baño y el otro baño estaba en el vestíbulo. Cada habitación tenía una televisión y un reproductor de DVD además de uno de cada en el salón. Esto fue perfecto para los tres niños. Sus habitaciones tenían literas y una cama de matrimonio. La localización era perfecta. Está a menos de 1/2 milla de Pier Park, del que queríamos estar cerca de cualquier manera. Nuestro apartamento estaba limpio y surtido con todo lo que necesitábamos para empezar nuestra estancia. El único problema que tuvimos fue que la parrilla no funcionaba y un problema de desagüe en uno de los baños. El complejo es más pequeño que muchos otros lugares, pero estábamos en la playa y tenía unas vistas fantásticas. La piscina no es la más grande pero los niños se lo pasaron genial chapoteando y jugando. El jacuzzi era genial. La pequeña hoguera era un lugar famoso por la noche. Tienen un pequeño bar/cafetería que ofrecía una gran variedad de bebidas y aperitivos. Solo había dos ascensores para 23 pisos, por lo que tenías que ser paciente a veces, aunque los ascensores eran rápidos. Nosotros estuvimos en el tercer piso y usábamos las escaleras para subir y bajar del segundo piso. Desde allí se podía tomar el carril peatonal situado sobre la carretera y que dirigía al garaje, que tenía muchos aparcamientos. Seguro que tendremos en cuenta este lugar para una visita futura. Para las quejas relacionadas por la ausencia de toallas, problemas con el Wi-Fi, etc., es necesario contactar con la persona o empresa propietaria del apartamento y realizar una investigación minuciosa o hacer muchas preguntas sobre el apartamento en cuestión.

    perfect

    Steps from the beach, amazing view, on-site bar and snack bar, close to everything. Apartments sleep up to 6, maybe even more quite comfortably. I really enjoyed staying there and I hope I can go a few more times. It was the perfect location.

    One of two elevators inoperative for almost 3 months. And counting.....

    We arrived at Sterling Breeze #1401 on October 2, 2020. First thing we noticed is that it is laid out like the one in Gulf Shores AL. When we unloaded the car we noticed a long wait for an elevator and realized one of the two was not working. We learned later from conversations with the elevator technicians that the elevator had been inop almost 3 months. When we left it was still not working... Our usual wait for an elevator was about 30 minutes though some on higher floors noted over an hour waiting time. We did use the stairs but going 13 flights up or down while carrying items to/from the beach or car is prohibitive. We noticed that many of the units had the same electronic door lock as ours did. It controls codes for tenants and workers and controls also the times of arrival and departures. The main thing that we could not find is how to lock and secure the door from the inside. That is a major security failure to us as there was no deadbolt, safety chain or any way we could find to secure the front door. This unit is owned by Gulf Shores Properties and managed by Southern Vacation company. We have stayed in other units in Gulf Shores AL, owned by the same people, and found them to be nice, clean and well stocked vacation units, as this one was. Well furnished as well. We will probably not return to Panama City Beach as the restaurants were ridiculously expensive. Food was so so and service was average at best. We will still return to other units owned by Paradise Gulf Properties though we were sorely disappointed with this stay.

    Not clean, difficult to navigate

    Pros: On the beach, beautiful views, big balcony, good floor plan, has a fitness center, has washer, dryer , full size kitchen, chairs on beach came w/condo & that as nice. Cons: rented through Southern Vacations and would not use them again for many reasons. In the middle of a pandemic I would expect it to be sterilized as they advertise & the place was barely clean! A lot of dust on my headboard, all the bathrooms had hair in the corners on the floor, my bathroom had food crumbs on the floor in the corner, mold in the shower, no place to set things in the shower you have to put soap and everything on the floor of the shower, dryer we had to run at least twice to dry anything. Almost all of the dishes I had to wash before using because they had food caked on them! There is no place to unload or load your vehicle and when we arrived no one was there to tell us how it all worked security/concierge desk. Luckily there was a luggage cart unlocked but you have to go up and down elevators to get to the parking garage and load and unload from your vehicle parking spot. Super inconvenient and never been to a place where it was so difficult to load and unload especially when you have so much stuff for 7 people. Couch was so old & worn out and had stains honestly I did not sit on it. Only 7 bath towels so had to wash daily.

    Sterling Breeze Condo #1705

    We arrived at Sterling Breeze #1705 on December 26th and left December 30th. First and foremost our host/owner Scott Weir was by far the most communicative and professional. He sent us everything we needed to know ahead of time and still communicated by email while we were there. The place was perfect. In the master bedroom was a King Size Bed huge and extremely comfortable. The bathroom in the master bedroom was huge and clean. The TV had all the channels. Also the bar stools were very sturdy.The whole entire condo was clean and quaint. Our balcony had a nice view along with chairs and table in great condition. There was even a grill outside on the patio as well. Even with Covid I was super impressed everyone wore masks in the elevator out on the beach in many of the common areas. The elevators were cleaned with bleach I smelled it during our stay AND the elevators both of them were working. The location on the beach was perfect it wasn't crowded at all. The hot tub and outdoor pool was heated AND everyone really did social distance in the hot tub and outdoor pool. I was super pleased especially with my OCD self with the clean factor during this pandemic. There were signs in the elevators about wearing a mask they also had sanitizing stations too in the elevators etc. We will definitely be back. This place by far was the best maintained in Panama. We will definitely be back!!
