  Happy new year

  Venimos a pasar fin de año en ouray y escogí este hotel , fue una excelente opción los señores son muy amables y atentos ,la habitación está muy agusto y acogedora . La vista que tiene hacia las montañas es increíble . Fueron unas vacaciones de invierno muy padres!!!!

  Great Hotel Location

  This historic hotel is in a great location for restaurants and other activities in Ouray. The rooms are comfortable but could use a little sprucing up. The hotel (at least our room) did not have air conditioning but this was not a big problem as it gets pretty cool in the mornings in Ouray. The included breakfast was really good! The tables in the dining room are large encouraging guests from different rooms to eat together. Doing so really added to our experience. Bon Ton, one of the best restaurants in town is right in the same building.

  If it had an elevator, it would be perfect!

  The staff here is exceedingly pleasant. The rooms are quaint and well-decorated. You really do feel as if Doc Holiday could have slept there the previous night. Breakfast is served in a very pleasant room on the first floor, and cooked up fresh when ordered. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

  Good location, reasonably nice rooms

  My husband and I stayed here during an ice climbing trip to Ouray. The location of the property is right in the heart of downtown which is perfect for walking to dinner and shops. The hotel is in a historic building and has been decorated accordingly. The rooms were ok, but could probably use a bit of an update. The breakfast was wonderful eggs, ham, hasbrowns all delicious. I would stay here again.

  Incredible trip and AMAZING Historic Hotel!!!

  I visited Ouray over Memorial Day weekend and was fortunate enough to stay at the St. Elmo!! Dave was such a great host! He offered my friend and myself complimentary wine and shared great history on the hotel. The breakfast was fabulous and the room we stayed in was gorgeous!!! I loved it so much I recommended the hotel to my coworker and shes staying in a week.! Ill definitely be back!! :) Thank you Dave for making our stay special. Best Holly
