  Close to city

  I stayed at the Stella with my Wife and 2 tween/teen kids for 4 nights in September. We picked this Hotel because it was close to the City, (yes it is an easy walk) and reasonably priced. We paid around 84 Euro per room daily (we needed 2 rooms due to our kids. a common problem in German Hotels) Pros : The Hotel is Far enough from the main road to be quiet. The rooms were clean, modern and spacious. The breakfast was typical German Hotel fare Ie : Very generous Buffet with lots of variety. Staff were friendly. Cons : The Hotel staff, while they try to help, was apparently not well trained. We were woken up every morning as the cleaners talked loudly and knocked on our door so they could clean the rooms. A simple "do not disturb" sign would have been helpful. We even had a staff member wake us to see if we were coming down for breakfast. I asked if the hotel could arrange for our underwear to be washed (as they offered this service) requesting that we did Not want dry cleaning, just to put them in the wash machine. The management told be it would be around 20 Euros. (I asked twice what it would cost) However, when it was done, I got a bill of 128 Euros!! We eventually settled on about half that, but it was an unpleasant surprise.

  Un buen hotel

  Reservamos el Stella a través de Ratestogo. com, estuvimos contentos con el hotel, está limpio, el desayuno estaba muy bien y está muy cerca del centro de la ciudad. Australia

  Run Down - don't stay here!

  We stayed here because we needed 2 rooms and it was around the time of the messe, so hotel prices in Hannover tripled. Yes, this hotel is cheap. However, it is in serious need of renovation. The carpets are worn, fraying and peeling up everywhere, the furniture is worn, and I was hesitant to sit on the furniture in our room. The shower was horrible - my children had to sit on the floor and hold the nozzle, because the holder was broken. The small square of sandpaper they gave me for a towel was so bad that I went to Kaufhof the first day and bought towels, which was well worth the money. The hallways reeked of cigarette smoke, which even seemed to drift into the breakfast room. The tv's looked to be from the 70's and barely worked. I would not stay here again, regardless. And, the location is not that great - there are much better options in Hannover.
