  No fue lo esperado!

  El Hotel tiene una magnifica ubicacion, y ese es su gran y unico atractivo. Creo que los propietarios creen que con esto solo alcanza, pero deberian esmerarse en mejorar algunos aspectos como: - Habitaciones chicas, - Cuarto de banio antiguo, con poquisima presion de agua y muy oscuro. - Amoblamiento muy viejo. Creo que necesita urgente remodelacion. El personal bien. Desayuno muy pobre, con jugos artiificiales, mermeladas de cajita, y una sola persona atendiendo, que aunque se esforzaba y corria, no podia atender como se debe a la gente. Precios muy altos para lo que ofrecen.

  Great Hospitality. Great Hotel

  We spent a few days in the Hotel Stella Del Sud in Calasetta in the Southern tip of the Island of Sardegna. The area is beautiful and deserves a visit. Beaches are beautiful, regional fish and other dishes are offered by local restaurants. . The Hospitality at the Stella del Sud Hotel was really wonderful, friendly and made us feel at home. The Hotel is located on the beautiful Spiaggia Grande. It has its own private beach and it provides Lounge Chairs and Umbrellas to their guests. Weather you want to hang out by the Hotel beach, take walks , explore the area or simply take a relaxing vacation, this Hotel offers it all. Their breakfast is plentiful with fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals and wow some croissants which are off the charts! Sergio, the breakfast waiter makes excellent cappuccino and coffee. The Hotel has a full menu restaurant which is open June through Septemper. Ask for Andrea Congiu, he is the manager owner with his family, he cannot do enough for his guests!

  Lovely Area, Nice Hotel

  We enjoyed our stay here and recommend this hotel. We stayed in a very large room with an ocean view and enjoyed the beach and the breakfasts. The wifi was excellent, and everyone we encountered nice. Hotel employees gave us excellent advice about where to go on Sant Antioco. Umbrellas and chairs available for rent. The hotel is about a ten minute drive from Calasetta. The price/value ratio superb.

  Nice and friendly

  The hotel looked a bit old-fashioned and dated, but the room was nice and had a large balcony. The staff was very friendly. The hotel has a beautiful swimming pool (very quiet in this period) and from the swimming pool you can walk 50 meters to the beach. There are comfortable chairs, beds and parasols on the beach, as well as at the swimming pool. The hotel has a good restaurant, with reasonable prices. Also friendly staff!

  Relax

  As a kid, 30 years ago, at Spiaggia Grande beach in Calasetta, seeing it white and beautiful right on the beach, I would always dream of staying at Hotel Stella Del Sud. And this year I finally made it! We stayed for 3 nights with my wife and kid. The room was very recently renewed, and with a magnificent double view on the pool and on the coast. The bathroom was brand new, the shower box modern and clean. The bidet was small and stuffed in a corner, making it impossible to use for me. But this happens in every hotel, as far as I can tell. The scent of juniper pervading the area surrounding the beach is something I keep dear in my memories, and this time I fully enjoyed during our stay. The staff was always smiling, friendly, kind, the waiters professional and caring. The hotel restaurant had a limited menu, but with fresh local food, and everything was fantastic. I was a little taken aback by the lack of prices in the menu, though. The beach is at 50 meters. The two other beaches of Calasetta are at 5 and 10 minutes by car. 100% want to return next year.
