  Surprising food from Grison!

  A good address for local food in a quiet atmosphere, spoiled by a friendly and smiling staff. Still remember with enthusiasm the Kapuns! All the colleagues at the table were positively impressed by the place and menu. Since it was a lunch, we did not order wine, but will do next time!

  3-Star hotel at 5-Star price

  It's an ok hotel, good location and an excellent restaurant for dinner. The rooms are well appointed, small but clean, good fluffy towels and good quality bathroom amenities, basic cold cut cheese and cereal breakfast, at par with it's 3-star rating. However at CHF 250++ per night for a simple 3-star hotel, a bit overpriced. Front desk staff don't seem to know how to follow the order of a line. Even if we were next in-line, she seemed to prefer to entertain other guests. After I complained she said it didn't take long to take care of the other guests anyway. Being told that after waiting courteously with a crying baby was enough to turn me off future visits. There are other hotels happy to take my money, why come back to those who don't value yours?

  Good location, excellent value for money

  Very good breakfast that included hot food like eggs, bacon, and sausage which isn't normal in Europe. Staff very friendly and location was perfect. We traveled with our dog so they even gave a dog bed and a bowl for water and some dog food as well. Free parking was excellent! Good price as well. Nothing bad really to say. There was no kettle in the room to make coffee but I just walked into the breakfast area and asked for some.

  Family Dinner

  Very busy - so we were informed on booking that we could only choose from the set menu. It turned out that the food and service was excellent. The salad bar was comprehensive and whilst I was looking the sous chef popped out of the kitchen to ask me if I needed anything else. He decided I needed some extra chopped vegetables on top of my selection to improve my choice. The evening was a triumph - the main courses were all delicious - the local Swiss wine a perfect accompaniment. Everybody decided that the Steinbock is a hidden gem as totally unpretentious but delivered on atmosphere , service and food. The Manageress who had been there for years thanked us on the way out for our positive comments

  A very special evening

  I wanted to take my 9 year old daughter for a fondue meal...... we didnt want a cheese fondue, so we asked for a recommendation from our hotel. We had a very special evening... the food was very good, the service was very caring and friendly.... Nothing was a big ask..... I would come back to Klosters just to go back there and to say Thank you and Helllo to the people there.... Thank you!!!!!!! We will be back....
