  Excellent place to stay

  Spacious room, nice to have the fridge and microwave available. Got some good tips from the clerk at the front desk for where to eat dinner and enjoy some beers. Breakfast - interesting during COVID - we were able to complete a "menu" by checking some of the available options, then took the food to our room to heat via microwave and eat. Better than some hotels where I've stayed where there was only a pre-packaged muffin available. Props for creativity with the breakfast, and the coffee was good and hot!

  WORN AND TORN!

  Booked one night here while traveling this month to Cleveland. I was assigned room #105. Carpet was dirty and the sofa was worn and torn on the arm. The bed was comfortable, but I couldn't wait to check out of this dump. I expected more from Staybridge Suites. You may as well stay at Super 8 Motel. I won't book here again, EVER!

  Mostly professional staff, horrible housekeeping

  We needed a last minute room, the person at the front desk who assisted us the evening we pulled in was amazing. IHG has always had high standards and our stays have always been positive. This property needs to improve a few items. 1. There was a medical container under our bed! Left over from a previous visitor. The rooms were not covid clean something I had thought Staybridge Suites adhered to. 2. We were unaware of the medical box until the next morning when we were cleaning up. This issue was reported to the front desk, the young womans response was Ill tell housekeeping, not oh, Im sorry or let me have someone come down to your room and take a look. I spent several years in hotel management, in this situation I would have had my staff go down with the customer and document the situation simply to mitigate any potential problem. Obviously the room was NOT cleaned and covid protocols were not adhered to. I can not recommend this property.

  Great staff but the property needs work

  Having a one bedroom suite with a kitchenette is great for a week long stay. The cleanliness and condition sadly left much to be desired. The tile in the kitchen/entry is broken and missing grout in multiple places. The dishwasher is missing the spray arm for the top rack. Some of the supposedly clean dishes in the cupboard were still dirty. The garbage disposal didn't work. The bedskirt had multiple stains. There was the outline of a bar of soap in the shower that could be scraped off with a fingernail. We ended up going out and buying an extra nonstick pan and a colander because none were available at the hotel. On the bright side all of the staff that we encountered were very friendly, especially the hostess working the Social on Wednesday night.

  Not that nice and Im surprised

  I spend 6 to 10 months out of every year at IHG hotels. That will not change now. However I am very surprised at this staybridge. Multiple items in the room in disrepair (closet doors, desk chair, bathroom caulking etc) the room was not very clean especially the kitchen, stains on the bed skirt and dried food on the carpet. There are 3 washers and only one dryer that work. Things break however signs should be posted indicating that the machines are broken. Especially in this day and age one would hope the rooms had at a minimum been cleaned properly. Im not looking for the sappy automated reply or discount. It would be nice to see this place as nice as it was
