  Nice, Inexpensive Hotel in South Bend

  I was looking for an inexpensive hotel with an in-room kitchen, and this Staybridge Suites delivered. It is definitely an above-average property for this hotel class and price. The hotel felt clean and well maintained. My room was spacious and well furnished. The bed was adequately comfortable and I slept well, but the mattress and pillows were noticeably less nice than other say a Courtyard or Hyatt Place. The room was quiet at night, no issues with loud noises. The free hotel breakfast was average for a hotel in this price range. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is located on one of the main roads through South Bend, making it easy to find and providing easy access to downtown and the University of Notre Dame.

  Nice hotel but needs better beds

  Hotel is located near restaurants and other businesses. Nice kitchen suite with bar table. I would stay again except the beds were terribly uncomfortable. Reminded me of the slab of mattress you get in a dorm room.

  Don't Stay at this Staybridge !

  What a depressing Staybridge! The parking situation was awful, near the garbage disposal area, the decor of the hotel. dreary and rather shabby - we skipped the breakfast and resumed our journey as fast as possible heading for Minneapolis, MN ( Bloomington to be exact) which was as depressaing as the one in Southbend.

  Great One Night Stay!!

  I stayed in this IHG Property while on business in the area. Much to my surprise, the hotel although full of 'Twirlers' for a major Baton Showdown in the area, the price for the room was very good, the hotel was quiet, and my room was bright, spacious and clean. One of the pluses was the buffet-style breakfast which featured fresh and plentiful selections. I had a very pleasant breakfast. The gym was exceptional as well, it was a true 'Fitness Center' with multiple options for a great workout. I did not spend too much time in the room aside from sleeping, but although a little dated, my room was clean, the furniture comfortable, the desk and office were comfortable and the bathroom was spotless. I also had no trouble falling asleep and getting a goods night rest. This is a value property if you're looking for bang for the buck.

  Great Stay!!

  Here for work for two weeks and Amy at the Front Desk has been very accommodating! Very professional and passionate! Rooms were clean and breakfast was great even with Covid restrictions. Would highly recommend!
