Huge pros and cons, really wanted to like this place but probably not returningI am a long time frequent business traveller to Sacramento. I am female and often travel by myself. I got tired of staying downtown and around old town because I like to walk around after work without people hassling me. Just today, downtown near the convention center at 5PM coming from a business meeting, I was asked for money 3 times in 10 blocks! It gets worse the later it gets. So I decided to try Staybridge Suites which is closer to the airport, in more of a strip mall area, close to a Target, Barnes and Noble, Best Buy, Michaels, Bed Bath and Beyond and many restaurants. I didn't expect the quality of Hyatt or Embassy Suites but chose it for the "safer" "newer (to me) location I could explore without being harassed. Two surprisingly good things about the hotel were the better breakfast buffet than Embassy Suites (actual strawberries and blueberries!), more bread types including bagels, and really comfortable beds on par with Westin Heavenly beds. I did see a woman come in and take something off the buffet who wasn't staying here and she got chased out of the hotel. However, that happens almost every day at the Embassy Suites so much that they have breakfast security cop monitoring for buffet grab and runs. Sacramento unfortunately has a huge homeless crisis and this happens at all the hotels here. Unfortunately, this hotel had some other challenges as well. When I checked in around 9, they first gave me a room that hadn't been cleaned. So I called from the room and said I could come down or they would come up with new keys. I was tired after flying all day and asked them to come up. They came up with new keys to a new room but I was standing in the hallway waiting for what seemed like a long time to me, but whatever, maybe I was tired and just wanted to go to bed. But, the next day I came back to my room and my keys didn't work. I had to go back down and ask why. They said the new keys were only programmed for 24 hours and I was staying 3 days, so strike two. They also have an annoying elevator that seems to want to stop on floor 3, not open a door, before it decides to continue to floor 4, again not horrible but annoying or slightly concerning if you are fearful of getting stuck in elevators. The thing that was probably the worst is a mildewy smell throughout the hotel. very similar to Hilton Arden Fair if anyone has stayed there (don't). I got used to the smell after a while, but still would prefer no smell to damp/mildew smells. My second room, although clean, had a yucky brown spot on carpet, again, not quality of higher rated hotels. I wondered...blood? crap? tried hard not to think what it was from but my mind went there anyway... So, because of the location, I REALLY wanted to like this place, but too many hassles for a business traveler who was tired after a long flight and then tired after a long business day, I just wanted to go to sleep or relax. I don't need the hassle of worrying about getting a clean room after a day of travel, room keys that don't work, and other little things. Back to Downtown again I guess.

WINDOWS DON'T OPENFirst the room I was in was very clean and the shower had great water pressure. But the deal breaker for me and why I would never return was THEIR WINDOWS DO NOT OPEN!! Not at all so if you're a person who likes real air coming in your room you won't get it at this hotel. There's a mini kitchen and good size refrigerator. Their were two different women at the front desk who were friendly and helpful but the guy at the front desk has a terrible attitude and speaks to people like he's some kind of drill sergeant in the army and works off the premise that the customer is always wrong!! Any exchange with him was a reminder of how not to provide customer service.

Terrible I will never stay at this location againI made the mistake of coming back to this location and give it a second chance after the first terrible experience I had with the room being dirty and the halls stinking from peoples garbage left in front of their door. I tried to go stay here on the 4th of July and had the worse experience. I have never had such a bad experience with customer service then I did the day I tried to check in. The receptionist was rude and disrespectful. He tried to force me to sign papers that said I would have any guest over the capacity in my room and told me he would kick me out if I did and told me he would make sure he enforces the rules. I asked him for a copy of the forms I signed and he told me I couldnt have them because it was for legal purposes. And he got mad and said he was going to refund my money and I couldnt stay there. I never yelled or got disrespectful so it was no reason for him to react that way which really made me think he was doing something he wasnt supposed to. I was there with me and my 2 children and the room was for a capacity of 6. No reason to react that way about visitors. Never have I felt so threatened by a person or discriminated against.I will never stay at this location and dont recommend it.

Wonderful!I really can't say enough good things about my stay at Staybridge Suites Sacramento Natomos. This hotel might be rated a 3 star, but I feel it's more of a 4 given my exceptional experience. Have stayed at high-end hotels in the area (e.g. Kimpton, etc.), but will most definitely stay at this property again. From check-in to check-out the staff went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable, relaxing and I felt well taken care of. The rooms are gorgeous with all the amenities, super super clean, and the property is quiet! The bedding and pillows are lush and elegant, and the towels are fluffy and luxurious to experience after a very long travel day. I don't think I have slept as well as I did in a very long time - tempted to buy the entire line of products to emulate the same experience. Breakfast - even in Covid - was wonderful, with a customized continental breakfast with several offerings in a to-go bag, with help (at a distance) from staff. I was able to use the clean and high end gym during my stay - perfect for my needs. Honestly, can't thank this hotel staff enough (Ricardo and Sarah) for being so welcoming with genuine care and friendliness which means so much to us weary travelers coming from across the country. Bonus points for the environmentally friendly practices, and LOVE J.R. Watkins line of toiletries! Big win in my book. Thank you! Will be back for sure.

Excellent SK, DQ, Sofabed, 2 Bath, Kitchenette Suite for PriceUnless using airport, somewhat out of way for I-80 travelers, but fine in all regards otherwise. Best thing about it was availability of the 2BR 2Bath suite with 1 single King, 2 Queens, AND a Double Sofa-bed. ALL good -- ESPECIALLY w/ affinity discount :)
