  Still going (mostly) strong

  I visited this property several years ago, when it was rather new, and was very impressed. Returning to the same property after years sometimes leaves you disappointed. Well, that was not the case with my recent visit. It is now clearly a dated SS property, which can't compare with the modern, newer and larger properties opening up, but generally they were doing a good job in keeping the property in great shape even after some years. Check-in was superb. Unfortunately, the young black lady was not wearing a name tag, so I could compliment her by name. Whoever from the hotel reads the review will for sure recognize her by her amazing beads hairstyle. She was very welcoming, professional and friendly, even explaining the amenities of the hotel. The 1-bedroom king suite was mostly in good shape and very clean. Sofa was becoming a bit worn out as it offered little support when you sat on it. The two TVs were somewhat small in size for today's standard, but did the job. We enjoyed the social hour. Seating was limited and filled up really quickly, so people who arrived later had no choice but to take food back to their suites. The food selection and especially wine selection was good. Usually, they give you a choice of white or red wine, here they had two sorts of red, a rose and a white one. And the wine never ran out, same goes for the food, which kept being replenished. Breakfast in the morning was fine, too. I enjoyed freshly cut fruit. Unfortunately, they were doing some maintenance on the pool, so it was closed, which was a pitty as I loved their pool before. All in all another nice stay. I will be back in January and am looking forward to another pleasant experience.

  Great Hotel

  We loved our stay in Palmdale. The staff was all very kind and helpful. We loved the meals. The lady who made the meals was so kind.It was very helpful to come "home" to a meal after a busy day. We will stay here again when in the area.

  Awful customer service

  The front dest service was awful and judgmental i never thought tgat would be the case as i am an ihg member. I stay at tge holiday inn whuch is tge sister hotel to the staybridge... I shoukf have just went back there. Next time i will book a room with a kitchen for my family elsewhere.

  Slow Wi-Fi

  The last, and only, two times Ive stayed at the Palmdale Staybridge, the Wi-Fi was so slow it was almost impossible to use it. Ive stayed at other hotels over the last few years and this is the only one in which I wasnt able to stream a movie to my laptop computer. Also, the rooms only come with one office chair and a sofa which is not my idea of comfortable seating.

  Horrible service and manager doesn't care!

  This is a real shame because the built in amenities are great however, I was run around, lied to, and made to feel like asking to get my room cleaned every few days was unreasonable and even when they said it was scheduled for cleaning, it wasn't. Add not cleaning dog poop even after multiple request and dumping their yard waste and garbage in the vacant lot next door. "NOT FOR ME"
