  Friendly staff, superb experience!

  I stayed at Staybridge Suites for my quarantine when I first arrived in the UK. The room was immaculate, the kitchen has lots of utensils, and also had an amazing view. I was not allowed to go out of my room so they delivered breakfast at my preferred time and they were never late. During my quarantine, I also received random calls just to make sure that I am okay, I have all that I needed, and for me to feel less lonely. After my quarantine, they were aware that it was my first time in the UK so they oriented me on how to get around the city center, where to purchase bus and metro tickets, etc. Really thankful to all of them especially to Jason. If ever I bring friends here in Newcastle, I will definitely recommend this place!

  A year long stay at Staybridge Suites

  We found ourselves staying at the Staybridge Suites for (so far!) eight months following a house fire. In all of this time, we have loved our stay here. The rooms are comfortable, large enough to happily live in and very well appointed. As you can see from previous reviews of the property, the rooms are of an excellent standard and the hotel itself is spotless. Very well positioned in the centre of Newcastle, easy to reach most places and with excellent facilities. As a fat bloke, I do like the free breakfast. However, the main selling point for this hotel should be the staff. They are, without exception, the friendliest staff you'll ever meet. If I were to name them all we would be here all day, but nothing is too much trouble for any of them and they have been unfailingly cheerful, funny and polite throughout what has been a difficult year. Particular highlights, and this isn't excluding anyone but I am terrible with names, include Caterina, Jason and Philip on reception, who are just unbelievably fun and good spirited. At night, Pete and Paul are always there with the worst jokes you'll ever hear but always work a smile. But that goes for everyone, from house-keeping, maintenance and the office staff: everyone has a smile and nothing is too much to ask. We love staying here and will be genuinely sad to go, but that's all because of the wonderful staff. If you're looking for a comfortable stay in a well-appointed, spotless hotel, then I can't recommend Staybridge enough.

  Relaxing, comfortable stay

  Lovely room, very comfortable beds, lovely relaxing bathroom. Staff are lovely and very helpful and welcoming. Anything needed was arranged by staff at no extra cost, e.g I needed safety plug socket covers as my son is crawling so a staff member ordered some online and I had them the next day.

  Excellent hotel in Newcastle

  Very comfortable stay, service was efficient but friendly, the hotel was very warm and clean especially important during the pandemic - and the bed was one of the comfiest Ive ever slept in! Would definitely stay again

  Covid safe visit

  I visited on my own this week as I had to visit a family member was terminally ill. Having had to book at the last minute the hotel were diligent in their checks as to why I was booking. On arrival they had noted my reasons for travel and were really supportive and kind. I had driven for six hours and then been to say goodbye to my family member so this, was most appreciated. They upgraded me so my suite was facing the river and the room was lovely. A little tired in places but clean and comfortable. On a practical level the kitchen was fully equipped. Iron and hairdryer of good quality and toiletries all provided. Some of the detail re cleanliness missed with dust on light fixtures and some surfaces not completely cleaned but really being picky here... The bed was just what I needed after a long journey and having a TV in both rooms was perfect. Sadly my family member passed away whilst I was there so imagine how moved I was on returning from a meeting to be greeted with a beautiful sympathy card and plant. The staff were exceptional throughout my stay I genuinely felt I was among friends where despite the situation being difficult because of Covid nothing was to much trouble. I need to go back next week for the funeral and as a single woman travelling alone will be more than happy to return. They
