  Excellent Stay

  This place seems relatively new so everything was very clean. The suites were large and provided plenty of room to move. The breakfast was fresh and plentiful. There was plenty of parking and the people were very friendly. It's also pet friendly.

  Perfect

  This hotel was super clean and quiet. We had two rooms on the fifth floor and the beds had mattresses that were exceptionally comfortable with no indentations from years of use, the sofa appeared new with no stains, the shower was clean and the glass doors were spotless. Kitchen was immaculate. We met often in the evenings since we were a large group of 9 people to chat and watch tv in the breakfast area and there was always fresh coffee and tea (both herbal and black). The breakfast area has plenty of seating and the selection of hot food varied all three mornings we were here. There is a Target and Hy-Vee within walking distance. The hotel is set back a bit from the main road so it is easy to pass up the first time but that also makes for a quiet nights sleep. Will definitely stay here again. Thank you to all the staff that make this hotel remarkable!

  A very pleasant stay; would highly recommend

  This hotel is relatively new and accordingly is in excellent condition. I would highly recommend it; it's probably the nicest hotel in the Fitchburg-Verona corridor. A few comments: (1) Friendly employees (2) Clean, comfortable rooms - bedding and linens all clean and nice (3) Bedding and pillows all AOK. (4) Nice amenities, though, alas, it was not possible to take advantage of them due to coronavirus: inviting lobby, fitness center, pool, etc. (5) The hotel works well both for a short stay (as mine was) or a more extended stay. The rooms are equipped with a full-size refrigerator/ freezer, microwave, stove, cookware/ dishware. (6) The hotel is very conveniently located within walking distance of a large, modern, pleasant supermarket (HyVee, a major midwestern grocery chain) and a Target and a number of "strip mall restaurants". (7) Joggers: The immediately surrounding area is not real great for jogging, but if you have transportation, you can go about a mile away and go for a run on the Military Ridge state trail. A few things that could be better: (1) Only one elevator to service a 5-story hotel seems a little slight. On this trip, I used it only when checking in and out because of luggage; I used the stairway on other occasions . . . and I saw other guests doing the same. But, in ordinary circumstances, with hotel occupancy higher, I could see elevator waits becoming lengthy. (2) The full-size in-room refrigerator-freezer features an ice-maker, but I would prefer if they additionally had a standard hotel ice maker. The in-room ice maker will likely be empty when you check in (and I can understand that; there is something "icky" about using ice made during a previous guest's visit). (3) Due to COVID-19, the hotel handed out brown-bagged breakfasts in lieu of their usual complimentary breakfast buffet. I can understand this. But, the brown bag breakfasts did leave something to be desired. I think it could be up-leveled while remaining appropriately deferent to the virus. For example, how about offering the following on a "grab-and-go" basis: choose-your-own yogurt flavor, individually-sized cereals, individually-sized milks, instant oatmeal packets, and "choose your own" fruit (bananas, oranges). (4) The air conditioning unit was a little noisy. I've always wondered why hotel ACs are almost always noisy.

  Great hotel, nice amenities!

  We stayed here for the 4th of July weekend and found the hotel to be very nice! The hotel is relatively new and was extremely clean. The bed, bedding and especially the pillows were super comfortable. In fact, I went online and ordered the same pillows after our stay. The room was equipped with a full-size refrigerator/freezer, a microwave, and a small stove and oven. We appreciated that as we got takeout both evenings from local restaurants and we were able to reheat the food and eat in our room. We especially liked the way that the hallways are offset for the rooms as it makes the appearance nicer and also seemed to cut down on noise from the hallway. The hotel has great amenities such as a small theater, swimming pool, and workout room. We were not able to use any of these due to CoVid, but they will be great once the pandemic is over. There were signs advising safety during CoVid as well as hand sanitizers at the front desk and in the elevator, which was greatly appreciated. We only used the elevator upon arrival and departure and used the stairs otherwise. There are only two things that were not perfect. The young man who worked the front desk all three days that we stayed at the hotel was very polite and helpful. He was wearing a mask each time that we saw him, however, he did not have it covering his nose, which definitely cuts down on its effectiveness. We really appreciated that the hotel offered a "brown-bag" option for breakfast since they could not offer the breakfast buffet due to CoVid. It came with a bottled water, an individual yogurt, an apple and a small muffin. Since each suite has a microwave and a toaster, either an English muffin or a bagel would have been a welcome treat instead of the muffin. Maybe you could offer two types of bags: those with the muffins and apples, and others with bagels and bananas. All in all, we were very pleased with the hotel and will definitely stay there again! If you are looking for a clean, comfortable stay that is close to the interstate, this would be an excellent option for you!

  Great hotel

  What a great hotel. The rooms were clean and well-equipped. The outdoor patio, pool and sport court were fun for our kids. Pedro, at the front desk, was extremely helpful and accommodating. We will definitely be back.
