  Good potential.

  I liked the layout of the room, it was well thought out and very nice. Our tv did not work. The outlet at the sink for the coffee maker did not work. The free breakfast was one of the best Ive seen, but every table was dirty. They had allowed some of the dishes to runout. The front desk was unmanned when I went to check out.

  Wonderful (and super clean) stay!

  We moved here from another Lubbock hotel because of the improved cleanliness and better appointed (and newer) suites. We were extremely pleased with the choice! The staff were excellent, and the room was very clean and quite nice. The general manager (Jasmine) and other managers run a very tight ship, and it was a great experience. We strongly recommend!

  Nice place

  We dropped my daughter for college at Tech and stayed here. Great location right across the street. Staff was friendly and pool was opened which I heard some near by hotels/motels pools were closed. Social distancing and mask were practiced at this location which was good. Only issue I had was staff was hard to find when i had questions to ask or purchases to make. Other than that, I will stay here when we come to visit my daughter at school.

  A Sound Night's Sleep

  The location seems to be an older location that has been updated with some paint and addition of decor. This mixture of new and old seems to work well since guests get the updates while guests also get the well-insulated rooms. My room stayed so cool, and I barely heard a sound from the busy street. Plus, they have the Dr. Watkins toiletries. Breakfast was not the best, but Covid-19 created this issue, which is surely temporary, right? Safe location, good lighting outside, clean rooms on inside. Trust this location for a safe-and-sound night's sleep.

  Cancelled my reservation without me knowing

  Upon arrival, the front desk operations manager, Latricia(sp), advised me that my reservation had been cancelled and there were no more rooms available. I explained to her that nobody in my party had cancelled the reservation. She gave me no information as to why or how it was cancelled. After talking with IHG customer service, I was advised that my reservation was cancelled the day prior by a front desk agent. I was not advised of this, but did notice in my cell phone call records that the Staybridge attempted to call me, but didnt leave a voicemail. The front desk made little effort to remedy the situation. They also told me they were training new employees during the time of my cancellation. I requested that the GM call me at her earliest convenience. Since then, I have reached out numerous times but still have not been able to speak with the elusive General Manager. Being a platinum member, Im hugely disappointed. I surmise that a new front desk agent accidentally cancelled my reservation and was blocked out from making a new one. If so, why didnt this agent at least leave a message or have IHG customer reach out to remedy the situation beforehand? Ive been with IHG for 7 years. Apart from utilizing my points until they run out, I will no longer stay at IHG properties. The quality of service has been in constant decline the last few years. I have cancelled my affiliated credit card, and will advise all of my friends and family to avoid IHG properties.
