  Beach weekend

  This place is a gem! Clean, new, and easily accommodating a family with kitchenettes, basketball court with balls, and pool. We will definitely be back! Breakfast in the mornings is another bonus. Animal friendly, clean, and new hard to find hotel.

  This hotel is budget friendly and clean

  Thank you to all the staff ! We were nervous since we have been taking all the precautions with the recent situation, but we wanted to be close to the beach and on a budget. When we arrived everything was well organized our room was super clean . Blanca and Maria did a great job . Nancy answer my calls at the reception and was so nice too. The kitchen had everything to cook a meal and avoid the restaurant , but in case of not wanting to cook the hotel is near a lot of take out options.

  What a find!

  This is an awesome hotel! I really dont want to give a great review because more people will come. I want to give a shoutout to Rebecca and Gary for being so kind and always helpful. But all the staff were friendly! This is a very new hotel that they keep very clean. Everyone wore masks and there was hand sanitizer at a lot of locations. I feel as if they went above and beyond to keep everyone safe. The rooms were large, the beds and pillows were very comfy, and the air conditioning was great! The breakfast every morning was outstanding with some sort of eggs, fresh fruit, waffles, sausage, etc. They even had pumpkin spiced waffles. There was an afternoon social meal with various cheese, crackers, deli meats, and beer, wine or soft drinks on Monday through Wednesday....all included for free with your stay. The hotel is pet friendly, with a nice outdoor pool, grill and fire pit area, and a fitness room. They even have free washer and dryers. This is the first review I have ever given...I had to let everyone know how great this place was!

  Mostly Great with just a couple of problems including vehicle break in

  The Bad: 1. There is a price to pay to have the Kitchen, which is great, and that price is a very small shower room. the bathroom is so small that it is hard to even open the door if you are standing outside of the shower. Toilet is in the say and the door opens all the way to the shower making it impossible to leave a towel on the floor. 2. They have cameras monitoring the parking lot but I am assuming no one actually looks at them. That kind of Stinks. I always assumed there was video monitors of the parking area and the main job of the night clerk was to occasionally check those monitors. I went to sleep around 12 at night and was woken by the front desk at 2:30 am to be notified the police were downstairs and that mine and three other guess vehicles had been broken into. My car was parked directly in front of the hotel doors next to the night clerks vehicle. My Back door window was shattered, Back Seat seam tore and glove box broken into and a few items were stolen. Other Three vehicles also had windows shattered. Police claimed since they were close to the highway this is was smash and grab thieves look for. Really wish the hotel monitored their parking lot a little better, maybe they could have scare them off. It seems like they had plenty of time to dig all through my vehicle. Hotel apologized but i am out over a $1000 in repairs and stolen items. 3. The breakfast precovid was amazing at this location. Breakfast after covid is simply ok. Now you tell them what you want and they load it in a to go container. Just not as good as previously . The Good: 1. Staff is very nice and professional 2. Rooms are super clean and comfortable. 3. Kitchen is really nice if you want to cook in or throw a couple of beers in the fridge. 4. 43 Inch TV with nice picture and best of all, it has a guide. it is either Dish or Direct TV, Cant remember, but you can hit the Guide button and actually see what is on and what is coming on. I really like this as opposed to the here is a piece of paper with the channels and you just have to cycle through them and figure out what is on the channel. 5. BBQ area, basketball court and fire pit outside. 6. Same parking lot as the local mall so there are restaurants and shopping right their if you want to pass the time. Mall does close at 7pm now thanks to covid

  Best Hotel In The Area!

  We love good service at a hotel and rarely take the time to write a special review. We usually rate with the stars rating request by the brand. This time, we would be remiss if we didnt share a very special stay we had at the Staybridge Suites in Lake Jackson, TX. We lost power like most of Texas during the freeze disaster of 2021 and sought refuge at their hotel. The kindness, and friendly smiles from the GM, the front desk staff, the hospitality team, cleaning associates, the linen department, maintenance, and EVERY team member that operates this hotel all deserve huge accolades. Im mentioning Olivia, Neyra, Leslie, Rebbecca, and Juanita only because I specifically asked their names. I wish I could share everyones name that personally touched us on our visit. Going, forward, we will only recommend this as a local place to stay. Thank you, to ALL that made our stay extra special.
