  Falta mantenimiento en habitación

  Fuimos en familia y se ocuparon 2 habitaciones la estancia fue del 30/12 - 2/1/19 no sé si porque eran días feriados no hicieron servicio de limpieza ningún día, solicitamos toallas limpias y recepción nos mencionaron que era una compañía externa la que hacía el aseo y el servicio de lavandería y toallas y que iban a pasar el Reporte. Las habitaciones tenían cocineta pero utilizamos la cafetera y estaba sucia de varios días atrás ... o sea tampoco limpian nunca la cocina.. El baño no estaba limpio, se me pasó tomarle foto, pero el vidrio de la bañera tenía jabón viejo pegado. El Staff de recepción trataba de ser amable pero se escudaban que ellos no podían hacer nada ya que era otra compañía las de servicio. Se supone que es un hotel nuevo, pero la verdad no regreso hay mejores hoteles en el área.

  Great Property

  This was my first time to stay in an IHG Staybridge Suites property. I was very impressed. First let me state that I am a die hard Hilton lover and Im not sure why I even decided to give this property a try but I am so happy I did. The property is a newer property and appears clean and maintained. My room was very large and well furnished. The kitchen was large enough and well stocked. I loved the lounging sofa and large (50+) television screens (1 in living area, 1 in bedroom). The mattress was super comfortable. There was a little sign that said the mattress was new and was a Beautyrest by Simmons Hospitality. It was super comfortable and if I was buying for my home Id consider the same mattress. My only complaint, and I am running into this issue more & more, is that there is not a bathtub in the suite, only a stand up shower. I dont like the fact that my choice of bath or shower has been taken away and now I can only shower. I like a hot bath to relax at the end of the day and I didnt have this option at this property since there was no bathtub, only a stand up shower. The bath products smelled nice and the shampoo, etc. is the communal type mounted in the shower. The fitness room was well equipped and breakfast area satisfactory. All areas of the hotel appeared to be spotless. I read the negative reviews of this property but had absolutely no problem during my stay. I will stay here again when Im in the area.

  Awesome Stay, nice and comfortable.

  This is a great place to stay in Lake Charles and it is one of the places we stay when we are here in the city. Location is great which is close to the Casinos, Shopping and Restaurants. The staff is extremely courteous and friendly and will make your stay pleasant. This is a Pet Friendly hotel and one of the things we love about this location. The property is new and well maintained. Will definitely recommend to Family and Friends.

  Overnight stay

  Work took me to Lake Charles, La and the boss put me up at the Staybridge. The hotel itself is unassuming and mixed in with a cluster of other hotel chains. No bar and no restaurants within a quick walking distance, although plenty of options just a short drive down the road. The room, however, was wonderful ! It was, in fact, a suite for single of a couples room. That bed was softer than expected and I slept good (Had a nice, big TV in there too)! The 'living room' area was plenty spacious enough to stretch out in and watch TV (a big'un too!). The kitchen was plenty big with a full sized fridge/freezer (a big plus), a two burner stove with a few pots and pans, glass and silverware, nice microwave, and a full, 12-cup coffee maker (a bigger plus!). Staff was very friendly and helpful too. The only reason I didn't give it a full 'five' rating would be the somewhat 'smallish' bathroom (allthough the shower was outstanding!)....I'm a 'bigger' dude so I like a little space when taking care og that bidness... Look y'all, this place, overall, is really comfey and more than worth it. BYOB

  Great hotel, perfect for working professional

  I am a consultant. Working here in Lake Charles for 3 weeks. That's long time in a hotel, so it is important that the hotel is good. This hotel is perfect. Full kitchen spotless clean, lots of plates and pans and silverware, big TV that pivots all around, nice breakfast included. And, get this, the laundry (lots of brand new machines) is free (just bring your own soap). The gym is small but has enough equipment to do a decent workout - all the equipment is new. I could not be happier. This place is perfect.
