  Spiders and Roaches! Worst hotel EVER!!

  Arrived at hotel on 10/11/19. The biggest spider I have ever seen in my life (besides a pet store) was in my bathroom, and it was alive. The spider was almost as big as my hand and had hair on it. Seriously. The front desk staff were very helpful and immediately tended to the problem. Went to watch TV, it was broken. Went to lay in bed and close the doors, they would stay closed. My bathroom door wouldnt stay open. I Walked out of my room Sunday morning to dead roaches. I was charged OVER $240 a night for this. Our team mates were charged $119 a night because they booked earlier than I did. (One parent did say she had small spiders in her room as well as her bed). When the manager called me to discuss this, he seemed unfazed and said, well, I take one night off your stay.... I didnt sleep for 2 nights because I was terrified of the spider issue, Im an IHG member, and my room was overcharged for 2 nights and he took off one night. Im highly disappointed and would never recommend this hotel. The location is great, close to restaurants. But unless you like spiders and roaches, dont stay here.

  Gluten free food

  The hotel was a usual Staybridge Suite with all the amenities you would expect. The evening social is always a super plan, however it would be great if they could label the food with common allergens. Travelling with two people who cannot eat gluten free food it is often a guess and see approach, which isnt the best. The same for breakfast, we had no idea what cereals we could eat so had to stick primarily to eggs and cheese. In the uk everything has to be labelled, I cant wait for that to come over here.

  Disappointing

  First, I have to say I am a Platinum Elite member of Rewards Club. I stayed in this property from Sunday 18 October to Thursday, 22 October, I was kind of surprised by the way this particular property did business. All of the signage from pre-pandemic days were up telling how light housekeeping was accomplished Mon-Friday daily ... making beds, emptying trash and replacing towels daily. Not until Monday evening came around did I find out none of this was done. You put dirty towels out by the door daily .. they would be picked up and you had to go to the front desk to get new ones ... no one mentioned this. The trash had to be put at the front door if you wanted it dumped...it got picked up one day out of four. I was in room 209 ... the furniture was old and extremely dirty. The green chair in the room had a mismatched back cushion and had stains all over it. It was nasty and needed to be removed/replaced. The coffee table in the front room of the suite consisted of two end tables pushed together ... they were light wood and there was an old dark wood cabinet that held the ancient Phillips flat screen television. The back was off the remove in both the front room and the bedroom. The couch in the front room was overtly dirty complete with stains. The bathroom had obvious dirt and hair in every corner of the room. The tub/shower had pubes from the last guest in the tub. There was a common soap, shampoo, conditioner holder nasty for COVID-19 days that had soap film on it. Bottom line, there was no hot food, the coffee in the pot was made once a day and left behind the desk. The entire property needs to be updated as it was more like a lower level hotel than an IHG property. Very, very disappointing. The American flag on the pole in the front of the property had been allowed to essential rot on the pole...not very patriotic while capturing the spirit of this Staybridge Suite property. Bottom line, I wouldnt stay here again. The bed was clean and comfortable.

  Worst Hotel Ive been in

  I just left. Just now after being checked in for only 3 hours. The whole hotel smells like something rotten. There are stains on the chairs in the rooms (sexual? Looked like it). The smoke alarms had been ripped from the wall in my room and wires just dangled. The entire hotel is filthy. The lady at the front desk seemed bothered at check in and didnt offer our money back when we told her we were leaving. Theres some kind of drippy stains running down the elevator wall. Speaking of walls, they are thin! Once the person checked in to the room above us and we could hear every step he took, that was it. Oh! And the sheets are scratchy. We immediately took a shower at our next hotel because we felt so dirty just from being inside this one. Stay far away from this place.

  Horrible!!!!

  This place is disgusting!!! The room had barely been cleaned. The furniture is old, torn and stained. Like equivalent to something youd see next to a dumpster. It smelled horrible. The staff at the desk was rude and unwelcoming. Dont stay here. Go across the street to the Madison county side and stay at one of those hotels.
