  Too Many Dogs!

  The hotel is nice, however there was lots of dogs there. There was barking from dogs who were left in rooms, and there were dogs in the dining area. We even saw a dog sitting on the bench eating food from a plate.

  Great for smokers

  If you smoke you will love this place , its like a smoking lounge right at the entrance. Ive never seen a hotel so laid back on the smoking policy. Im not against smokers , however move them away from the main entrance where none Smokers and children pass. The staff is quite friendly. The hotel is a little dated but comfortable. But for the smoking deal I would have given another star.

  Its Unfortunate...

  Beautiful location- unfortunately none of the staff wears face masks nor do they enforce guests in public areas to wear them. We are staying for 10 days and have elected for no housekeeping, as every day we see them cleaning rooms with no masks on. Very unfortunate as this is part of the IHG promise of ensuring guest safety during pandemic. If feeling safe during this pandemic, I would definitely recommend elsewhere.

  Poor Customer Service, Does not honor reservations

  Let's start by saying we booked a 2 room suite for 3 nights (king and 2 double). When we went to check in we were told there were none and split our family into two separate rooms for the first night. The second night we were moved to a suite, but not as what we reserved, and our autistic son was not too happy having to sleep on a pull out couch! We asked to talk to a manager upon checkout and was advised there were none on duty that day and was assured we would get a call the next day from one. Well, it has been weeks and no call. Additionally we asked that the room was to be charged to a different card than what was used for the reservation and that didn't happen either. We've reached out several times via phone to resolve, each time promised a call back from the manager, each time no call. The facility was filthy and you would think they would pay more attention to cleanliness during the pandemic. Each day we passed the same coffee spill on the tile floor by the elevator., and there was no hand sanitizer to be found, even by the self-serve breakfast bar. Even after contacting IHG Corporate we were assured contact within 48 hours, has been 5 days still no call. Avoid this place as if it was an infected person walking up to you without a mask! Gave 1 star because no stars was not an option.

  Covid state-mandate violations by entire staff, many guests

  Not safe. Despite the signs every few feet, basic safety protocols are completed ignored from wearing masks to cleaning common areas. Rampant violations of Michigan state mandates for businesses, by both day and night staff, other workers, and staff. Dismissive additive towards basic public health measures. This is why the pandemic continues to spread.
