Nasty dont goThis hotel has cockroaches my family stayed there and found 3 cockroaches on are weekend stay. Please protect yourself and your family and dont go to this hotel. Just look around the edges of the lobby at the tile. This hotel is filthy nasty. I have never seen something so disgusting in my life. Please for your own benefit do not take your family to this hotel.

StaybridgeThe rooms were nice and large, they seem to have a good COVID policy and have the cleaning down as well as sensible distancing ( self serve for breakfast, lounge shut down). Our check in experience was quick. Pool is still open.

Unsafe/Unhealthy Hotel Experience and Poor Customer Servicehad a poor experience at your hotel from day one. I contacted the front desk to inquire about the air in the room. They informed me that the room is set with motion detectors, and the air kicks on only when movement is detected. I expressed that I understood the room design but the air never kicked in. When we first arrived, we were in constant movement. We disinfected the room and unpacked. Yet the air never kicked in. I asked if there was perhaps some type of fan we could use for the room and the front desk receptionist offered to check with the janitor but never checked back in with us. We settled on opening the window, which the receptionist suggested. We discovered that the window had a broken screen, so bugs were coming into the room. Because we needed a room with two queen beds, and availability was limited, according to the receptionist, we were unable to change rooms. Day two, I cut the bottom of my foot very badly on the rocks at the bottom of the pool, in the deep end. My friend staying in a different room at the hotel asked the front desk for bandages or a first aid kit due to my bleeding foot. The receptionists offered a few bandages and stated thats all they have. They never shut down the pool, never came to inspect the pool area in question, and never investigated who was bleeding or the extent of my injuries. I called the hotel the next day after I checked out to explain my experience and they admitted they failed to follow up on the bleeding foot they heard about from the person asking for bandages at the desk. They also admitted they should have closed down the pool and should have a better first aid kit. I simply asked what can I do for compensation for a horrible experience and they offered me 10,000 reward points. I paid a lot of money to have a comfortable and safe environment. I got the opposite. Your hotel was clearly negligent in their upkeep of the facilities, their follow through regarding the unsafe conditions and the injuries I suffered. Corporate requested someone from your location to contact me directly. No one reached out to me within the appointed 48 hours. This was requested by corporate a week ago. This is simply unacceptable!

Wonderful 3 Week Stay!!!First off I apologize for waiting so long to write this review. We spent 3 weeks here after we moved out of our sold home and before our new home was finished. We had a one room suite on the first floor. The room was clean and comortable. Nice to have a refrigerator and a 2 burner stove as well as a microwave. The king bed was comfortable. Shannon the manager and his staff couldn't have been nicer! Everyone greeted us with a smile and very shortly after check in by our first names. The limited breakfast due to covid was excellent! Something for everyone. The evening socials started back in our second week and they offered all kinds of delicious snacks. We had to use the business center and the fax machine several times ..on one occasion the printer wouldn't work and I was generously offered Shannons office! At the end of our 3 week stay we were happy to be going to our new home but sad to leave the staff that became like family to us. The staff was wonderful and we had a very pleasant stay. We left on a first name basis with most staff. My husband had cataract surgery duing our stay and Shannon checked up on us asking if he could do anything. I also blew out my knee and offered help to us of any kind. I would stay here again in a heartbeat..the hotel is nice, but the people made it great! Thank you. Bob and Jan Barrette

Filthy room horrible customer serviceWe are platinum customers with IHG had 2free nights that they refuse to allow us to roll them into 2021 due to COVID, Marriott on the other hand did !!! We get to the hotel to find out they are having a big construction project going on right in middle of the hotel we get our room located right across from the work area, so here we are listening to jack hammers and workers screaming at each other its 2020 so fine what ever let that go .. try to turn tv on, no tv, called the front desk the guy asks me what is wrong with the t. I respond its not working and he replies whats wrong with it MY MAN ! I reply I dont know I am not a tv repair man its not working he gets huffy and replies did you try to unplug it or try to reset it ... instead of just saying I will send the maintenance guy up there. The guy gets mad and give the run around. MY MAN is not the way to address a customer with a legit complaint. Once that fiasco was over we look around the room and there is hair all over the bathroom and couches in the living area I call again MY MAN puts me on hold 15 minutes later I am still on hold so I walked down to the lobby in person to talk to him he looks at me like a deer in a headlight.... they made us feel like we were a burden to them. Also, when IHG corporate got the survey back they didnt even apologize instead they mentioned the room upgrade which is complementary to platinum customers any way. We will never stay at an IHG hotel again Marriott is the way to go .....
