  Clean, quiet, movie theatre, restaurants and shopping within walking distance

  My wife and I stayed here for one night inside a one bedroom suite. We were greeted and checked in immediately. We were immediately told there is no ice machines and to use the refrigerator ice machine in our room. This was inconvenient when we expected ice to be available as most hotels offer this convenience. There was no ice waiting in the bin inside the freezer. Upon entry into our room there was a strong scent of a disinfectant, which was not pleasant. The room was very clean and the bed was made nicely. Next to the bed was a small dresser with a TV on top, which made it hard to pass by it to get to the bed. The bed was ok for us but not the most comfortable. This may be a personal thing and because most of us are accustomed to our own beds at home. The next morning we checked out and we went to the included breakfast. Most of the food meant to be hot was like warm at best. The food got the job done to fill our stomachs to start a day of Christmas shopping. Yes we would stay here again if we needed to. The three staff members we had contact with were all friendly.

  Was having a excellent time here until I was forced to leave on CHRISTMAS DAY!

  Let me just say, aside from the employee I am about to mention my stay would have been amazing. However due to the actions of one night manager who was filling in on Christmas Day and decided to make my Christmas into a living hell I will never even consider staying here again. This night manager was the most ridiculous employee I had ever seen. I had already been in the room for 4 days prior. On Christmas Day I decided I wanted to stay for one additional night. So after we got back from my girlfriends families house I went with my girlfriend to the front desk to pay with the same card that had already been used eve r yeah for four days prior. This time however the manager informed me that it was a prepaid card, I had already informed him as well as every other person I had checked in with that my card had been lost so we were using my girlfriends card to pay for the room until my new card arrived in the mail. The four days prior were not a issue checking in with that card, even on the first night when a different manager specifically checked me into the hotel. To make it even more of a outrageous issue. I had used my points through IHG HOTELS that I have accumulated to cover the cost of the room for that night. So all he was going to be swiping the card for was the deposit. He then had us escorted to the room as if we were criminals and literally had the housekeeper stand there the entire time as we packed our stuff and called IHG HOTEL corporate office who provided no help WHATSOEVER. It is amazing because I am a platinum elite member with ihg hotels and now see how they could really care less about putting one of their better customers and his fiancé out on the street on Christmas Day when it is pouring rain. I thought I was dreaming how ridiculous the entire situation turned out to be and that man should be immediately fired and should never work in the hotel industry again. Also he lied numerous times to corporate on the phone, the housekeeper that was sent up with us as well as the head housekeeper as well as the lady on the phone with corporate were all on my side. It was just this employees single handed actions that caused all of this drama for me and my fiancé,

  Do Not Book Block

  Whatever you do, do not book a block at this hotel. They were completely incompetent at handling my wedding block and caused us a huge headache, made my sister late to my wedding, overcharged me an extra room which 3 weeks later they refuse to acknowledge and made every one of my family members lose time arguing and sorting out their mistakes. Heres an example of a mistake they made just to show you the level of incompetency we are dealing with: my mom and sister have the same name, they both booked rooms separately using different credit cards and different emails so they both had their own confirmation number. When my mom checked in, they cancelled my sisters reservation assuming that my mom had accidentally booked two rooms instead of one!!!! So when my sister went to check in they told her sorry but you dont have a another room it shows you already checked in and you only had one room!! She insisted that a mistake was made, showed proof of her confirmation email and number and still spent 45 minutes arguing. She missed a part of my wedding and the idiot at the front desk had the nerve to ask if I (the bride) could call to confirm that my sister was part of the hotel block. Im so mad we chose this place for my wedding block I will not recommend it to anyone.

  Almost Extended Day

  Studio Suite, good sized. Closest any non extended day could come to being most like an extended day. In entry nice counter with (smaller) refrigerator and Microwave. Nice size TV, but screwed into cabinet at the BACK! Why the back?? Pretty sure I'd like it better if it was a foot closer, and then it has a better chance of turning toward where I was sitting on sofa. Turning wall thermostat off did NOT keep it from occasionally turning on. Maintenance guy came up and turned it OFF. Good location not far off freeway and near an area of restaurants.

  Visiting friends that were in town

  We needed a place for a quick stop and we were happy with our choice. The Hotel is is new and very clean. The only issue was the limited parking due late at night due to the full house. I ended up having to park on the street for the night. This location would be great for someone who would have a lengthy stay. There is a large frig, microwave, coffee maker, dishwasher and small cook top. There are a number of restaurants and Trader Joe's near by. Due to COVID, they only offered limited breakfast items. I would like to thank Julianne for making me feel welcomed when checking in.
