  Weekend stay

  The staff was very helpful and friendly. I had my grandbaby and my hands were full with her. No matter who we encountered, each person was genuinely kind and helpful! The room was immaculate and the food on the breakfast was good. Definitely a great place to stay. I have already recommended it to several people.

  Tiffany Knight is awesome! Yvette and food crew rock!

  I encourage anyone to stay here as it's in the heart of Columbia and wonderful breakfast 7 days a week and great meals, wine and beer and sodas 4 nights per week. Everyone is so friendly here! Pets are welcome!!

  The Most AMAZING Hotel EVER (due to the AWESOME Staff)!

  I cannot say enough about this hotel, but more particularly its staff. From my warm and welcoming check in, to breakfast, to returning for an item that I left, to staying an extra night... Angie and her staff truly embody what hospitality really means! I have NEVER been treated so politely and royally at a hotel. Not to mention that I have NEVER seen such thorough room cleaning and subsequent inspection by management of EACH ROOM! A special thank you to Shelby and Angie who are simply THE best!

  I stayed at this hotel about two years ago and would've given it an A+ rating then but, now I would rate it a C- due to the fact, the rooms were not as clean as I would've liked for them to be and they smelled like pets. I've been staying at this hotel for about four weeks on a business trip. I know that this hotel is getting paid good money to accommodate the training groups therefore, the rooms should be a lot cleaner and smell a whole lot fresher. The carpet was dirty in a lot of spots within the rooms and even in the hallways. There was evidence of food crumbs. I had on a pair of slipper socks because I don't like to walk on the floor barefooted and thankfully I didn't because my socks were very dirty underneath them just by me walking around my room. Some of the evidence that I saw while stayed at the Staybridge was hair in the tub, crumbs on the counter tops and dust. Also, there was evidence that a dog was in the room due to the fact that I saw dog hair and some dog food bits on the floor. After, bringing this to the attention of the front desk; they were apologetic and changed my room. The new room wasn't much better. It too smelled like pets. It's okay to allow housekeeping to use some lysol to disinfect the rooms, especially those rooms that had previous pets in them, Some people coming in afterwards may have allergies. I would like to see the rooms cleaner and to perhaps have a floor designated for people with pets. The staff at Staybrige are very nice and the food is good on most days.

  Enjoyable stay

  We stayed here recently while viewing the city. The staff was very nice and friendly, and although we had to change rooms due to a heating issues, we found our stay to be satisfying. The pool was not in proper condition for a swim, which was unfortunate, but Im sure such will be resolved soon. Breakfast was easily one of the best Ive had, with much variety and daily alterations as well. The rooms were not very modern, but were still a perfect size and very clean as well. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area.
