  Amazing hotel

  Everything about this hotel was top notch, with the exception of breakfast (thank you Covid). The bed was extremely comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised to see the full size (or at least apartment sized) fridge. All plates, cups, and silverware were for three people. Since it was just my husband and I this trip, that wasn't a problem at all. Very clean in every aspect. Our hair dryer was going out and when I went to the front desk, they did not hesitate to replace it. My husband ended up having to work most of the trip and the internet was super easy to connect to, and try to go in and out, like some hotels we have previously stayed. He was comfortable working and I was able to hang out on the couch, using the ottoman to hold my laptop. The only inconvenience, as previously stated, was breakfast. Covid kept us from having the continental breakfast, so the selection for breakfast was small. Cereal (plain Cheerios), fruit, blueberry muffins, hard boiled eggs, and yogurt. Since we were without kids, breakfast worked, but if we had the kids with us, they would have preferred a larger cereal selection. Being Labor Day weekend, they may have just not gotten a shipment in. However, it allowed us to explore local breakfast eateries (we highly recommend 5th Street Diner). Overall, it was an amazing getaway, even with my husband working. And we will definitely be coming back to Staybridge!

  The treatment we received is unacceptable by every standard.

  We made reservation through Booking in June for the weekend of Sept. 10 for 3 nights to attend the Holley LS Fest as we have in the past. When we arrived on Thursday, Sept. 10th we were told by the manager, Zirina that they cancelled our reservation and gave our room to someone else and they didn't have anything else for us, mind you they charged my credit card $843.95 before cancelling my reservation. Now I am fighting to get my money back, I have placed a formal complaint with IHG and Booking,com. The manager, Zirina would not give me the Franchise owner information so that I could report what she had done. I was able to find another hotel Townhome Suites by Marriott in Bowling Green that was able to accommodate our family but we also had to pay, so at this point we are out over $2000 for a three night stay in Bowling Green Kentucky. Staybridge Suites should have found us another place to stay and paid for it, if we did not have the means to purchase other accommodations for the weekend our family would have had to turn around and go home. This treatment is unacceptable by every standard.

  Perfect

  I have been IHG member since 1994 but have never stayed at a Staybridge until now. We had been on the road for 10 days, it was Friday night and we needed a place to settle to watch some SEC Football on Saturday. This place was perfect. A den/kitchen and a bedroom meant two TV's. Which gave each of us a TV and I did not have to watch ALL the games. LOL. The room was clean and spacious. Comfortable bed, pillows and linens. Full size refrigerator. Two range burners. Microwave. Dishwasher. We stayed two nights. The staff that we had contact with was very nice. Numerous chain restaurants and a Kroger's nearby. Recommend this place.

  Good place to stay for business

  Good location to reach all the businesses south of Bowling Green, 2 miles to downtown. Many business travelers from all over the world during the week and families on weekends make this place very vivid and energetic, sometimes loud. Amenities like fitness, outdoor pool, washers and WiFi are pretty standard like the bedrooms, but clean. Front desk staff and kitchen helpers are all very friendly. Breakfasts and complimentary dinners on three days per week are average. Ill come back.

  The hotel is listed a a non smoking hotel, yet the entire place smells like cigarettes. People have clearly been smoking in the rooms and stairwells, both tobacco and marijuana. The stairwells smell the strongest of smoke, and there are ashes as well as cigarette butts on the ground. Two times during our stay, a police office has escorted people in and out of the hotel, not sure what thats about, but it doesnt look good. I will say that the amenities, room, and lobby are nice, but the overwhelming smell of smoke really takes away from the overall value of the hotel. The location isnt bad, close proximity to a gas station, grocery store, and some Restaraunts. It is a pet friendly hotel and has a nice area for animals, there are also a few parks near by you can take your dog or go for a walk.
