  Spacious, Friendly

  My family of 5 opted for a 2 bedroom suite here for a 1 night stay so our 18 year old son could meet up with some friends in our hotel room without bothering the sleep of his teenage sisters and his parents. Definitely had to use Google Maps to find it as there are lots of strange ramps and turns. It sits with 4 or 5 other hotels right up next to it. Check in was a breeze with a nice friendly associate. Even with a pandemic, they had games and other things in the main area for people to use if they wanted (masks required). Took the elevator up to the 3rd floor. Loved that the hallways don't feel like the typical long coridors and are broken up with turns now and then. We found our room and our initial impression was how much it felt like an apartment/home. This was welcome as we were on day 14 of a 16 day road trip. Breakfast the next morning was nice considering every single hotel we had stayed at during the trip only had brown bag options with granola bars and fruit. This one had the full waffles, omelets, sausage, bagels, toast, yogurts... I'll outline some pros and cons below: Pros: kitchen had everything you need, including stove, microwave, fridge, and sink. Counter space. Bar type table with 2 chairs. Comfortable king bed in master and 2 queens in 2nd bedroom. 2 full bathrooms. Cons: definitely had a "tired" feel needing some deep cleaning in the corners in the bathrooms and furniture is probably 10+ years old in living room; no desk in the master, so my 3 am work had to be done in kitchen with my son sleeping 10 feet away. Pull out sofa for my 6'2 son was way too small (not a queen) so we had to request a cot for him. Courtyard lights (pool area) were left on all night and were VERY bright, shone through our curtains even though we had them pulled as shut as we could. Overall, the space was nice and staff was friendly. We like IHG branded hotels as they seem to be mostly consistent for our family's needs, but we might try the Homewood Suites by Marriot 2 bedroom next door next trip to see if it's any better. (Self proclaimed hotel snobs...)

  Such a Pleasant Surprise!!

  We had planned to stay in another hotel but when we arrived there they were under construction with loads of dust so we checked out and looked for another hotel. We decided to try Staybridge Suites for 1 night and see where to go the next day. Once we entered our room we were so pleasantly surprised. The suite is so spacey!! 1 bedroom has a kingsize mattress and its own bathroom, the other room has 2 queen beds with its own bathroom. The kitchen is well stocked. In the morning we could pick up breakfast and eat this in our room or in/outside. They have bagels, bread, eggs, sausages or links, fruit, yogurts, cereals, and more. All is packed up neatly and social distancing for breakfast is perfectly done. We were so happy with our room that we added another night. And .. another day. Albuquerque has so much to offer and this is the PERFECT base to start exploring from. The beds are the best, there is a complimentary laundry room, the staff is so friendly as they gave us all kinds of tips about where to hike, fish, eat at local places and go where locals go. I cannot say enough about Staybridge. During our trip from Fort Lauderdale up to New Mexico, this hotel has been a 10/10.

  Extra space!

  The rooms are well appointed, as clean as one would expect, and rather large. However if you are sensitive to noise, this isnt the place for you. Conversations in the halls can clearly be heard from all areas of the room. Footsteps from above and every door that closes does so with a wall shaking slam. It cant help that the doors do not completely close either.

  Always a Pleasant Stay!

  I love staying at the Staybridge Suites (near the airport). The staff is always so friendly and very accommodating. Robert, the Manager, was amazing! Thank you so much for everything!I highly recommend staying here, you will not be disappointed. Close to the airport and close to several restaurants!

  Just Okay

  Penny pinching. Sink not clean. No paper towels in the room so I called front desk and they commented: youre staying one night so you dont get any, we can send up a towel??? I was told fitness center entry was by appointment only so I asked for 3AM appointment and clerk said sorry Fitness center is not open until 5AM due to New Mexico State law and Covid restrictions. I discussed this with her and stated this is not the law and she said sorry.
