  Beautiful Place and Great Service

  The rooms are beautiful, lovely food, attentive staff. Looked after well from the moment we arrived, long into the evening and the following morning - couldn't have asked for more. Easily accessible from the motorway and plenty of parking

  Hidden Gem

  What a beautiful place! Not what I expected at all. My partner booked this hotel for us to stay while I had a night out locally with friends. The hotel was dressed for Christmas and looked beautiful. There was a wedding on when we arrived and I was hesitant at first, we mentioned this upon check-in and said we wanted a quiet room and the receptionist told us to let her know if we had any problems and we neither saw nor heard from the party again all night, everything was perfect. There were some marks on the carpet in our room however in general the room was very clean. We went into the bar later that night for drinks and the seating area was stunning, the music choice could have been better however it made us chuckle and the bar staff were friendly. Breakfast was amazing and check out was smooth.

  Wonderful wedding meal

  My husband and I got married in December 19, we have been together a long time and didnt want to much fuss. We went to Statham Lodge to enquire about a family meal after our wedding for 17 people. Andy was so helpful and made our entire afternoon and evening a joy. We chose to have it in the garden room which was decked out with Christmas decorations and looked fabulous, the table was set out beautifully with candelabras on it. He helped us with everything and made it stress free. It was so well organised and we cant thank the staff enough. We wouldnt and couldnt have chosen anywhere better. Thank you *****

  Good to be back!!

  We had a lovely meal last night, at Statham Lodge, which was the 1st night of re-opening since the Covid Lockdown. We were MOST impressed!! Excellent food and friendly service...but most of all, we felt extremely safe with the measures they have in place.

  Wonderful hotel

  My fiancee and I stayed one night as we are looking around for potential wedding venues in 2022. This hotel is an absolute gem! The grounds are incredibly picturesque the rooms right through to the bar area have had a modern renovation and are incredibly comfortable. The restaurant served fantastic food high quality with filling quantity (my fiancee had to leave half of her main course being too full and we shared a pannacotta dessert) The afternoon tea service is fresh with a wide variety of small sandwiches and cakes - definite value for money for people who enjoy a quaint afternoon tea We stayed in the white lady suite - very luxurious so comfortable and priced in line with the greater Manchester area. Due to COVID there were few guests though safety precautions were thoroughly observed and Marcin was an absolute delight. Attentive chatty and passionate about the hotel and it's history he was able to regale us with details about the ownership and running of the hotel over the decades. He really made us feel welcome adding such value to our stay. For a peaceful night away I would absolutely recommend statham lodge it is a real local treat.
