  Estafa, mal servicio.

  Reservamos y pagamos adicional US$ 8 por habitación doble con ventana, ya que la oferta de Despegar era US$ 74 habitación sin ventana, viaje con mi hijo. Al llegar a la habitación solo tenia una cama matrimonial y la ventana daba al pasillo (la reserva no da opción de solicitar y reservar con dos camas), !!la habitación no tenia ventana!! , estaba hedionda a alcantarillado, reclamamos en recepción y nos pusieron un catre de campaña adicional, (la tarjeta de crédito ya habia sido cargada por los días reservados 05), por tanto, solo tenia posibilidad de cambiarme de hotel perdiendo US$ 360, el cual no estuve dispuesto. El Desayuno era solo para un pasajero y otro lo cargaban , dispuesto a que esta estafa no me afectara mi estadia en Shanghai, pasamos lo menos posible en la habitación compramos incienso y aguantar. El día del check out , nos cobraron una cama adicional US$ 30 diarios, total US$ 150 adicionales. Este hotel es dos estrellas, la atención es pesima , la ubicación es cerca de nada ,son unos descarados sinverguenzas, además me robaron una prenda.

  Good value & comfortable. Went back again the second time!

  Good and friendly staffs. Good for value as facility is good and clean. There is Free internet with cable provided in the room and breakfast is included. It is not perfect but I find this hotel the best if you are a traveller with medium range budget. Rooms without window are over utilized, a little run down and small. There is also a little smell. I requested to switch to a room with window and all was great.

  Ok hotel, but not near the city

  The room I got is rather small. I book for a room window window, but to my horror the window looks out to no where! The staffs at the front desk is quite helpful. They also help you to organize a tour to the city or nearby cities if you need.

  Back to basics

  We booked ourselves at the Starway after reading it's reviews and primarily because it was great value for money to be so near the Bund, Shanghai's tourist hub and, sometimes trap. It's an oldish building hidden behind other buildings and quite a challenge to find. There is no bell service and you'll have to cart your luggage through the lobby of an office building through the new wing of the Starway and into the main hotel lobby. The rooms are basic and though clean, feel dirty. The toilets are aged and housekeeping has to work hard to create some semblance of cleanliness. They don't have a restaurant or room service but there is a decent choice of eating places in the area. It's walking distance to the Bund and a metro station and it's easy to get taxis in the area. It's got a kind of seedy vibe, with calling cards of escort services being shoved under your door every evening, but we saw families staying here. Not much to say really. You're not going to get a room with a view but you will get a decent bed to sleep in that will not burn a hole in your pocket.

  Excellent hotel at very convenient location. Reception well mannered and do speak English. Serves only chinese food Several prime locations near by to hotel easy access to subway Very friendly people in particularly receptionist. House keeping is fantastic
