  nice suites in the hart of the city

  I stayed in the hotel at summer with my friends, it has a very good location, it is not expensive and the suites are really large with separate living room and bedroom!The buffet breakfast is excellent and the personal is really helpful and nice!i can recommend the hotel for business trip as well!

  A Great Business Hotel

  The Starlight Suites Hotel in Bucharest, Romania, is exactly what a good business hotel should be. This is all about pluses and no minuses. The hotel is centrally located. There is a full service supermarket in an adjoining shopping mall, as well as a great cafe and restaurant. The rooms are large, well appointed and clean. Bed comfort is superior. The bathrooms are spotless and really large. The shower is perfect. Only wish the towels were a bit larger. There is a microwave oven in the suite, some dishes, cups, etc. A wet bar. A fully stocked fridge with things to buy if you need them. A nice work desk with wired internet. The room also has a sitting area with couch and two seats. There are two plasma TVs. One in the bedroom. One in the living room. There's even a small balcony to get some fresh air. The staff are friendly, and the breakfast is solid, with a wide variety of things to choose from.

  Nice hotel close to the center

  Good location, close to the bus station and walking distance to the center. Spacious appartment type rooms. Decent breakfast with basic food choice. Lovely and helpfull staff. The only thing missing is the free Wifi (you have the cable option). Nice small gym with sauna. Two flat screen TV's in the appartment with a variety of channels. Small kitchenette incorporated- microwave, basic cutlery and plates/glasses. Bathroom clean and spacious with all the basics needed- hair dryer and amenities. Would recommend for stay while in Bucharest.

  Perfect, good value place

  Exactly as others have said - lovely sized room, light and airy, comfortable bed. Free Wifi. Nice breakfast. Excellent value. The staff are extremely helpful with anything from sorting out wifi cables to recommending and booking restaurants. There are no downsides. It's a little way to the old town - we took a cab to get there - so not in the prettiest of places, but it's well-positioned if you're on business and don't want to move far. There's a supermarket, a cash point and a good restaurant (Loft) immediately next door. About 10 Lei for a taxi to the old town. (Be careful - we got totally ripped off on the way back - cab driver insisted there was a ''night rate' and charged us 70, despite our protests. Receptionist confirmed our suspicious that he would have pocketed the difference. And that was with one of the 'reputable' taxi firms). TIP: take a travel kettle. The only slightly strange thing about staying here is that they provide you with coffee, tea, cups and saucers ... but there's no kettle!

  Spacious rooms

  I have spent almost three months there and I have nothing but good words for the hotel. Spacious rooms with a confortable king-size bed, two flat TV's with a wide international list of channels. There's a wardrobe in the bedroom and some shelves. Rooms are also equipped with a Small kitchenette with microwave oven, and a small fridge. Spacious bathroom that only needs some more space to leave your things. There is no restaurant nor room-service, but they have an agreement with Loft café placed in the same building, that takes to your room nice food (I recommend the sandwiches). Pls note that they are no working on sunday evenings. And you also have in the building a supermarket where you can find everything that you need. Breakfast is basic but good. Small gym with few training machines, but enought to do some exercise, and they have a sauna, and that's a plus. But, above all, we have the staff that is great! Really good professionals that are always willing to help you and give you tips about the city. If I have to come back to Bucharest I'm sure I will be back to that hotel, but not only because of the quality of the rooms, mainly because of the quality of its staff!
