  Beautiful

  Excellent service - One side of the double bed was sagging and that was immediately rectified after the reception was informed. Thank you for the most lovely stay. Beach front property. Great location, a short 30mins stroll by the beach to town. Yummy daily breakfast. Thoughtful buggy service that picks guests up from town. Large spacious room. Only complaints - Double bed is actually two single mattresses put together, makes the middle of the bed uncomfortable to lie on. WiFi needs to be beefed up.

  Adventure

  Spent 2 nights here with family friends. It was just gorgeous. The bungalows were lovely, comfortable and so clean. Loved the grounds and the pool was fantastic. The food and service were great and I would be happy to stay again next time I am in Lovina

  A great place to stay...

  Four of us, one couple and two singles booked the three bedroom villa at this resort. It's across the road from the main resort and appears fo be an old Balinese house. The furniture was a mix of Balinese and European. Each bedroom had an ensuite. The grounds were fabulous with a full size pool. Unfortunately stepping out of the pool can be hazardous as there is an almost invisible 4 inch step. Three of us took a tumble. One was injured and the response of staff was admirable. Taking her to the nearest hospital. The manageress was fantastic offering us breakfast in the villa. They are looking to put lights and white lines around the pool area. I hope they do. Otherwise the staff particularly Ari the manageress were great.

  Value for money.

  I have been banned from a villa in Ubud and a resort just outside of Chiang Mai, simply for giving honest reviews on TA. So when I say that Starlight Bungalows is well worth a visit you can believe it. The bungalows are a good size and clean. The food at the restaurant is very good and reasonably priced, the staff helpful and friendly and the location on the beach is great. If you dont want to walk ten minutes to the local shops they have a free shuttle. Great value for money.

  Lovely relaxing stay

  Three of us stayed in the "executive villa" at the end of the garden past the bungalows and close to the lovely pool. We had expected to have two bungalows but due to a booking misunderstanding we ended up paying a bit more and staying in the villa and we were very happy with it as it was delightful. Huge living area, sparsely furnished and equipped but fine for us - the slowest boiling kettle ever but slow down on holiday :)!! . Bedrooms were very clean and comfortable and the outdoor bathrooms fantastic - those baths!! The outside patio is furnished with comfy sofas and a great spot to chill in the shade with a cold drink. We asked to have a look at one of the empty bungalows and they looked spotless - quite sparsely furnished again but so clean and tidy. The pool area is beautiful. Again, spotless and surrounded with glorious flowering trees. The only thing which could be improved there would be a handrail to help us more mature travellers get out the pool gracefully! The restaurant is in a great situation on the beach. Food wasn't outstanding and we preferred the music and menu next door for dinner. Breakfast was fine - nothing special but fresh and no complaints. The staff were all so friendly and helpful and they keep the place very clean and tidy. Free shuttle is great as it a fair walk in the heat from the "centre" of Lovina. Thank you for a great stay - we loved being in Lovina area.
